Occasionally I get a figure that really blows away just about everything else. The new RAH Spawn from Medicom is just such a figure. With an amazing outfit, the usual excellent articulation, and plenty of attention to detail, this is easily my favorite comic book Medicom so far. I have a review up tonight of the bad boy, and even at his extreme price point he gets top honors.

You can find all the reviews at the usual:

A shout out to all the fathers out there today - happy Father's Day! Thanks for reading,

Glad you're happy with this figure. I love Medicom but I just couldn't pull the trigger on this one. Medicom makes such wonderful figures that even when I'm not a fan of the characters (like Full Metal Alchemist) I still want the figure for it's "coolness". A spawn fan...I am not...thought the live action movie was entertaining and I probably would have been drawn more towards that version. I think the cape would have been better if done in a Satiny material with wire's throughout. Still... a really nice transfer from Comic to action figure...my not being a fan of the character really got in the way with this one. For Spawn fans looking for something other than statues or the previous 12" sculptural wonders McFarlane has been putting out, I would think that this RAH should be a welcome addition.

In your review, you call it a clear four star figure but at the end of the review it only has three and a half stars...error?

You should have tried to get permission from edwint or Spliff to use some of their photos. No offense but their photos put yours to shame and really show some of the great things you can do with this guy.

Now how could he possibly take offense at that? :lol You should change your screen name to Mr. Tact.

Well, all I meant was that Michael's photos really don't show the potential of the figure to it's fullest extent as he is just kind of standing there and the cape isn't really posed. If you look at the Spawn Pose Off and compare photos there to Michael's photos in his review they are much more dynamic and befitting of a four star figure review.

I've been impatiently waiting for this figure since the Fall... still no arrival, but I'm glad to see he snagged a ****. I think this was the first Medicom I actually pre-ordered. I usually just wait for the secondary market to save a few bucks but I don't think he's gonna drop in price.

Well, make sure you get the info from Ed on how he did several of those - it doesn't do those things right out of the box. ;)

I don't own it and don't want to either, I stopped caring about Spawn years ago. Still it is one bad ass figure! Also quality review as always MC!!!

Sixth scale figure of the year. Sorry Hot Toys endoskeleton, you just got edged out.

i'm leaning this way too. incredible fig! like most i couldn't giva a rat's ass bout Spawn anymore. comic was good for awhile, HBO ani series rocked, movie blew...but u gotta love this fig on it's own merit! reminds ya why Spawn was so popular and "cool" when he 1st came out, because he had this kick ass charater design.

Just got word that my Spawn should be shipping out tomorrow :chew :chew
Congratulations! You will NOT be disappointed.

I'm also expecting this to be a nightmare to attain within six months to a year, so if you are going to want one, get it now. I'm glad I paid $130. :lol

Yep, mine came to about $130 with shipping to. The funny thing was when I ordered him from cornerstore they had him up with 2 different prices: $139 and $119?!?

You can imagine the choice I made :lol

Well UPS have screwed the pooch royally again.

Keeping in mind last time they dropped my RAH Ghost Rider 10 houses up, and only the fact my mobile no was on the contact details meant I received it:
