I have him posed next to Iron Man at the end of the Video

Cool that he looks correctly sized next to the suit. I plan on getting a Mk.2 at some point.

I waited for the narrow shoulder body to make my Stark as well, I like the suit and it looks great on that body.

I really like that set up Deckard.
The glass in his hand is a perfect look for Tony Stark.

Im going to try a strip of double-sided tape work for closing the neck of the shirt.Since the suit wo nt be coming off the body I figured why not.

Dino, any tips for removing the posts from the feet?Out of the methods i ve tried so far, teeth were the most painful.

Well I managed with just my fingers, but You could use some small pliers, be sure to wrap them in tape first, to prevent damage

I know the last post was last year, but does anybody have a picture or know where I can get the neck join for Tony Stark? I wasn't fortunate to get this suit on time. :(

I have this set and I believe it is the same as the moveable necks that come with other truetype bodies except the ball connecting the neck and head is bigger. You might get away with buying a regular neck and padding it to fit the Tony Stark head.

I tried to use the Bruce Wayne neck join but had that same problem of the ball being smaller. The only throw back would be the neck movement if I were to pad it. It is a great suggestion though. ;) When did you get your set?

you're a good necroposter.:wink1: you realize you're necroposting, but you do it for a reason. that's a lot better than the abundance of recent clueless newbs. thank you, you've gained my respect. :clap

and to find the neck joint, your best bet would be to search ebay from time to time and see if they have the suit or a custom body. either that, or just use a regular ht body, and simply use a little bit of clay to make the ball on the joint larger for the head. that works pretty well.

Mmmm I think I pre-ordered it last year from toys2. Great set, put him in the Jericho pose and haven't moved him. Clay or stick putty might work too. You can gently pop open the neck and take out the double sided joint to help make modifying easier.

Thank you villainsfan42. ;)
I've seen so much great information, and useful tips on these posts, and I tend to read along and not realize the dates sometimes. So much interesting stuff to read on! ;)

I'll surely give these ideas a try, and see what I come up with.
I did get a suit for Tony, and so far he's looking sharp. lol

That Jericho suit would've been great to own, but I haven't had the best luck on ebay finding one. If by some chance you happen to have seen one lately, please give me a heads up. I will be more than happy to make that purchase. ;)

I have the Iron Man IV on pre-order and wanted to use the Tony Stark Head on a suited figure. So I went to Frank & Sons on Weds. to buy a TTL suit I saw before at Q's. Instead I found The Hot Toys Tony Stark Suit loose there. Didn't come with the neck post but not sure if the IM IV Tony HS is going to need the larger neck post ball. Anyways I was pretty jazzed to have found this suit. Going to use a needle and white thread to sew the collar shut on the shirt. Bobby also gave my a 1/6 Rolling Stone Magazine with Tony on the cover as a early Xmas present, thanks Bobby! :yess:

that suit is really unflattering in my opinion.
i found a suit on ebay that fit perfectly but i ended up using it on an obama custom lol

I wasn't wowed by photos of the suit either, but in hand it's really a nice looking suit. Really well tailored and a nice cut. I put it on a Narrow shoulder TT, just waiting for the HS. And I'm really happy with the way it looks. So it wasn't the photos that won me over, it was actually seeing it in person. When I found it I didn't even know what suit it was. I asked Bobby and that's when I found out. I've sew other suit collars shut before and I think that's a big help. Bobby had one on display on a Tony Stark and had it posing just like the magazine cover, "Tony Stark wants to save The World" . Looked really sharp!
