Hey!

Okay, I know I can't cover everything but I will give you my last reviews plus my thoughts on some pieces I didn't like it as much.....

WOLVERINE 1:1 BUST

This is a great looking piece. Yes, his mouth is pretty big and almost overwhelms the look of it, but not quite. It is well sculpted and the eyes are very expressive. I think it is better than the one released by Marvel a few years ago.....

In ways I think it is better than the premium format, but that is a subject for another thread....

SPIDER MAN COMIQUETTE

I didn't care about this piece at first and although I do not intend to get it, it is a very well done piece. It is bigger than I thought and I think one of the things that make this piece cool is the wall he is holding on to. It is a very good base and makes the piece stand out. I think it goes well with Venom and Carnage and it is a must for Spider Man Fans, specially if you missed the PF a few years ago....

MS MARVEL, BLACKCAT and SHE-HULK
Premium Formats

These two pieces are great looking statues. She-Hulk has a beautiful face and attitude on her expression. I actually loved it and although I'm not a big fan, I am considering getting it. I don't mind the exclusive but I wished she had slightly bigger muscles....

Ms Marvel is also very beautiful, has a sexy pose and it is a must for fans. I don't think you can get anything better than this statue and it goes well if you decide to display with She-Hulk.....

I think BlackCat PF is a step up from the AH line. I like this one a lot better and the base is pretty cool. She has a nice face and I do like the pose, although I think it is a bit awkward. The safe is a nice touch that compliments the piece well...

BOBA FETT AND C3PO
Life Size Busts

I don't collect 1:1 scale busts, except for my Arnie T-800, but these are amazing. Boba Fett is bigger than I imagine and I never realize but he has some light on his chest with numbers and it look very cool.

C3PO is also a great piece..I mean....It's C3PO!!!! Very cool piece with light up eyes and I love the the head is turning a bit. It gives that extra movement to the piece that makes it so much better.....

If you already have Vader, you gotta get these two......They are AWESOME!!!!!!

More...........

MORGUL LORD
Premium Format

To be honest, I don't care much for this piece. It is a nicely well done sculpture, but although I love LOTR, it just doesn't do anything for me. Maybe it is the fact it doesn't have a face on it and it looks like just a bunch of clothing..... I'm not sure but it still is a good piece, great pose and good presence......

CYBORG DARTH MAUL
Premium Format

I don't know about you but this is an impressive piece. Strange subject, odd character but very well done piece. It is very big and the metal parts are so cool that if I collected Star Wars PFS, it would have been a must. The exclusive is great and it is the kind of piece that will make your collection even cooler. people will be very curious to know what the heck that thing is, but they will be taking back by its presence.....

TOD INDIANA JONES
Premium Format

I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with this piece. Cool base, nice pose and great detail in the clothing but I didn't think it looked like Indy as the other 2 pieces. I still think that the bridge would ave been a better choice for a base, but the overall piece just doesn't say Wow!!! to me.....

Still a great piece, just not for me. I will stick with my ROTLA one....

Now, for the pieces that didn't do anything for me......

TMNT COMIQUETTES

I know a lot of people like them but they do absolutely nothing for me. I grew up watching them and Sideshow did a great job but just isn't my cup of tea.

COLOSSUS COMIQUETTE

I had high expectations for this piece but I don't think SS delivered on this on the way a lot of people thought they could have. Good pose, nice paint job, but I don't like the portrait they chose and I think the base could have been better. I'm holdng for the Premium Format.....

VENOMSAuRUS REX COMIQUETTE

Since it was released, I still ask myself "Why????" Interesting concept, cool looking piece but a total "MEH!" for me. I guess SS wanted to try something different and they achieved that...in a bizarre way...

CARNAGE COMIQUETTE

Wow!.... I impressive looking piece and anyone that sees it just is amazed how much is going on on this....but to me Carnage is just not a great character...I like Venom and I like Spidey..... and although this piece is a good looking piece, it just doesn't do anything for me....

DASTAN PREMIUM FORMAT

Another piece that doesn't do anything for me. Yeah, it is well sculpted and yes, it has nice detailing, but I don't think they captured the likeness of the actor and the base is just okay......

T-800 STATUE

Finally, Terminator 2 statue. Gosh, I think Sideshow had enough T-2 stuff and after the release of the PF last year, I didn't see the necessity of doing another Terminator 2 piece, considering we are all waitng for T-1 stuff.....but here we are.

I didn't like the pose casue it was supposed to be in te scene he walks towards John Conor and take the gun out of the rose box....welll, he was looking straight ahead and not sideways like the statue. I think SS tried to capture movement but unfortunately didn't succeed and it just came out with an awkward pose instead.

I still prefer the PF version and the 1:1 scale bust..

I hope this helped a little to the folks that were not able to go to the Comic Con. There a lot of great reviews and photos out there and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask....

Cheers
