David West needs to go, really. He is over-rated getting into those All-Star games. He can be great. He's got the size, he has real ability, but he doesn't have the "mental toughness" to play well when he needs to. Peja is too old and injury prone, and plays hot and cold when he isn't injured. Plus, there isn't a lot of depth to the team. Our defense was pretty good last year, though. Not sure where we need to make changes, but changes are needed. Paul shouldn't have to start taking over games as often as he does, because the players around him can't take care of business.

Take Pau Gasol from the Lakers and give him to the Hornets, though, and we'll see how good each of these respective teams really is.

CP3 is awesome.. Other lead guys are questionable..

Depth is not there..

I love Byron Scott but don't think he is the best coach.. Not much structure there offensively.. But I guess w/ a guy like Paul you might not need it?..

I think they had their one good year and have slipped (alot) since..

Even w/o Pau Lakers are pretty solid.. Thats whats scarey about us, you can even take Kobe out of the mix and we will still win games..

Portland will defn be better this year, pending on injuries, the Spurs will prolly be better, Denver will be about the same (2nd or 3rd in West) but now they have leadership and better experience, but their coach still sux. But, besides those teams, Lakers will prolly come out on top again barring any injuries to Kobe or Gasol..........I actually think Sacramento will get to 20 wins this year

In the East, Orlando actually got worse even with Vince cause of all they lost. I still think that when healthy, Boston has the best Defense in the league, Cavs will be a little better I think as long as West doesnt go to jail for getting busted with all those guns.............besides those 3 teams, the East is weak imo
