I finally got to see the Hobbit this weekend, and I loved it. Now NECA has released their quarter scale Gollum (and Smeagol), and I love them almost as much. You can find the review at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

You definitely got a dud right eye. Both of mine (Gollum and Sméagol) are just fine in that regard. Definitely an impressive figure from NECA. Probably the best likeness of Gollum I've seen from any company. And Bilbo looks just as good. I'm hoping the line continues past him, but I'm doubtful they hit many non Hobbit/Dwarf sized characters. I want them to stay away from the Fellowship unless they plan on making them all. We've got enough *this* complete Fellowship collections now right?

Well, I don't feel the old line connects to this one all that well, but still true nonetheless. I supposed I'd rather see those re-released again with their improved flesh plastic and paint though than not at all.

The head/neck can actually tilt back quite a bit. I was surprised. When I first did it, for a second I thought that I had snapped it.

Is there a thread for the 1/4 scale Neca Bilbo? I just ordered one, as well as the Smeagol version of this.
