NECA: New 1/4 Scale LOTR figures coming 2012

Randy just confirmed on Twitter, plus they have the Hobbit licence in 1/4 scale too!

The Gandalf was fantastic...a Ringwraith, Uruk-hai, Mordor Orc...those would be very cool if done right! A better aragorn would be nice too...and these were priced evry nicely at $50 a pop.

Don't be haters...they were actually very cool!

I'm with Sachiel though...7" would be the best bet for me!

I had the NECA Gandalf, Aragorn and Legolas and they were all very well done and a great value. Obviously they weren't as nice as the Sideshow PF's but they were $60 not $300. Oddly enough the Balrog was pretty cool as well but I didn't like that one as much as the other three.

I had Aragorn until I got the PF and I agree they did a great job for a $40.00 figure. I also had the Balrog which was awesome. Maybe they will finally make the Ringwraith which was rumored many years ago.

Gandalf was very well done. I was just checking e-bay the other day to see if there were any good deals on him.

I don't know if I'll pick up any 1/4 figures this go-around(I have all three plus the Balrog), but I may change my mind once pictures surface. NECA's come along way in the last few years, improved sculpt and articulation might sway me back.
