Hello I am going to be removing the paint from a finished sculpt and resculpting some areas and wanted to know what do you guys recommend for the job since I am not sculpting a new one. Also once the material drys will it stick to the head? Thanks

I would use Super Sculpty on the head and when you've got it how you like it, put the whole thing in the oven to bake -- and as with everything Sculpty be careful not to let it overcook. And at that point, it's pretty much on there. Hope this helps.

I dont want to bake it because I will be adding the material to a hot toys sculpt and the head will probably melt in the oven. I have heard epoxy putty works well because I can sand it down when I am done but I dont want it to dry too quickly.

Aves Apoxie Sculpt is very popular for this type of work. Gives you 1-3 hours of working time (gradually getting harder over time). Once hard, you can sand and finish it. Sticks very well.

If you're careful with the heat you should be able to bake Hot Toys heads. At least I never had problems with my v.1 Joker head. But if you prefer the epoxy putty I can vouch for the Games Workshop brand.
