Need suggestion for 30-40 inch body for custom project

I'm looking to do a custom and I need a large figure (anywhere from 25-40 inches I suppose). Aside from the Jakks 31 inch Big Fig bodies does anyone have any other suggestions that might have more articulation (even girl's dolls)?

There are some really big ball-jointed-dolls, but they might be 1:3 scale, so 24 inches-ish. Maybe there is 1:2 BJDs out there.

Yeah, I hoped to avoid a $400+ ball jointed doll if possible. Hoping to find something cheaper.

skinny or muscle built? check 1:4 scale format part outs. iirc, mr. bean and batman/joker and terminator has one.
coo models is making a generic 1:4 scale body, if you can wait for that release.
