Break out the cigars boys! My wallet gave birth to a 75lb baby boy.

And what a boy!!

Yep, finally got me a new TV. 46inch Panasonic Plasma 1080p to be exact.

This TV is so sweet. The blacks are so black and the picture is so crisp. I can finally play my Blu-ray discs in 1080p also. And man does Soul Calibur 4 look sweet on this baby. Wow.

Paid $1258.00 and it was worth every penny. I just had to show it off!

Is Panasonic a reliable company for HD-TV's? Is there a difference between Panasonic, Samsung or Sony? (quality wise)

Honestly I was just happy to get a namebrand. No offense against the other brands but it just feels better getting a brand I recognize.

awesome TV but serioulsy... the FIRST thing you watch is Mad About You? or is it What Women Want?

:lol ;)

Oh no, not dissing what you bought man. It's awesome and I hope you enjoy it. I am just asking because I need to get a new HD-TV and I always want to buy something that will last. And it's good to know which companies can do that for me.

Panasonic is the highest rated plasma per Consumer Reports for like the last 3 years unless you go uber expensive with a Pioneer Elite. You can't go wrong with a Panny Plasma. I've picked out and installed 3 of them, with everyone extremely happy.
