New Figure in the Newsletter?

Well, almost time for the next newsletter, and given the schedule Sideshow has followed for Star Wars, is it safe to hope that we can get ready for a new preview of a LOTR figure this week, with pre-orders next week? Most of the Star Wars stuff followed a preview week/order week/week off/preview week style schedule.

I don't know...We're going to get four pre-orders during Toy Fair for Star Wars and LOTR....2 and 2 ....You think they'd have one before then as well?
I hope so!

I think we won't see anything from the big guns (SW/LotR) until Toyfair. Makes a bigger splash that way.

I dunno if any new things'll be announced but I'm DAMN sure gonna check it
ASAP online from now on. This'll be my 2nd week of doing that, since the
"great Grey Hulk debacle" that put me on the waitlist instead of an order.

Could somebody tell me if Sideshow posts the newsletter at the end of the
day for them or earlier? 12 noon for me is 9am for them, so 5pm for them
would be 8pm for me. I don't want to wait and EVER find out I've missed
something again. Regret of missing something by minutes is a killer!

I have found the newsletter to be posted around between 7-8 Chicago time, and pre-orders usually kick off right at 12:00 noon

Agree with JS -- it pays to be on time with these, obviously. There might be somehing of the sort this week, as the Hulk/Spidey diorama was first announced in the newsletter the week before: Venom is probably coming up, and who knows, it might have an exclusive version (although that's highly unlikely with a 1:1 bust). So from now on, once we know that there's a new fig coming up for preorder on a given week, that's when it pays to stay up waiting for it.

The mail delivery to your mailbox usually delivers on Friday, but Sideshow has started posting the newsletter update on Thursday evening!

Priority presales usually the next day regular pre orders Thursday night.

I thought all pre-orders went live at noon the next day, but all I have ordered recently are priority items!!! Good to know if a less sought after item is previewed, I can get my grubby little hands on an order earlier!

Nope, it's only the priority pre-orders that are handled this way. Other pre-orders now go live on Thursday, basically as soon as the newsletter is posted on the Sideshow site.

Gotta get in the mood. The Grey Hulk was up at this time, that's all, not the next day like the 12" figs... Alice, I'm right here, btw. Just in the other room, over there!
