Interesting. Galadriel looks like a light-up figure. The WK is cool looking, but I'm guessing he'll be super fragile. Good thing I'm not into mini-busts.

Love the light-up Galadriel. but does that look more like Lindsey Lohan than Cate to anyone else?

Good to know I wasn't the only one having some problems with the Galadriel likeness. Was thinking a VERY young Maggie Smith. Hope it's a proto and not the final version. Sure have been wanting a Nuclear Galad for a long while. *sigh* As for the Wiki...I've got so many likenesses of him among my stuff, will pass on it.

I like the WK but my initial reaction was that there was something wrong with the way he's holding the sword -- as if he's poking at something.

Now I don't know anything about swords, fencing, etc. but doesn't the scabbard look as if it angled for a left-hander? Imagine the struggle he must go through to take out his sword...:lol

I like them both. That's not the first representation of Galadrial that I'd want but it's still a cool one. This has the chance to look wicked cool with the light up feature. Still, seems like it would've been a good exclusive, not regular release.

Nothing great, in my opinion. The WiKi is decent, but, the likeness to Galadriel is off...

I dropped this line. I'm not a Gentle Giant fan.

Agree that this would have been an ideal exclusive, while offering the "real world" Galadriel as a regular. (mebbe they're thinking just the opposite..."real" Galad as the exclusive. If so, it will be yet another in a long series of missteps this company has taken. They REALLY need to hire some bussiness experts.)

That's it! Thanks Cap'n. I just couldn't pinpoint it. I still have a problem with the scabbard. Is it supposed to be angled like that?

That's his knife scabbard, and while a little bent, it is correct. It's placed on the left for easy access with the left hand while the right is used in combat.

I must be dense 'cause I'm dizzier now than before. So the blade (sword/knife) he's holding (in his right hand) does not belong to the scabbard? If that's true, it begs the question, where's the knife that belongs in the scabbard?

The editing in the film is poorly done at that scene. What happens is this: the WK comes out with drawn sword, then as he assails Frodo he pulls out his Morgul knife, sword in the other hand (there is also some reversing going on). At some point that the editing does not fully show, he sheaths his sword, leaving only the knife. It's kind of hastily done, so it's pretty confusing no matter how you view it. I hope that helps at least a little.
