I dont think that can pull one over on us. Sideshow knows that everyone would be pissed about that. Besides, look at the photo, it is simply the same Arnie figure hidden undera dark shadow. It will be the same figure.

That doesn't mean anything. People are worried that the likeness rights will fall through, and the face will either be covered in camo paint or altered to only "kinda" look like Arnie (e.g. - Kane looking nothing like John Hurt).

If that happens, the silhouette on SSC's site won't change in the slightest.

Yeah but they wouldn't put the sentence; "authentic Arnold Schwarzenegger likeness'' there would they? Relax people it will turn out the same as earlier pics, it is just a formality. HT is being extra carefull this time.

I thought there would have been an update about the likeness in the newsletter but there wasn't.
I wonder when they'll update it.

Or maybe Dutch will have confirmed likeness at ToyFair in 2 weeks?

think i'll unsubscribe from this thread until the release date is closer. reading so many posts a day about how everyone hopes the likeness issue resolves itself is getting dull. i for one have faith nothing will have changed for the worse. i'd rather read something else.

I dont think it'll be anytime soon, the fig isnt due till May.

If there's no repainting or resculpting with approvals to me involved, we should have news soon.

If the head isn't approved and a paint scheme or sculpt has to meet everyone's approval, could take some time depending on how much it takes to make everyone happy.
