Oh man, this is just the license to make me get over the prices of the 1/4 or statue stuff. Wow!
It also says there will be a 12" LotR figure too! It also says one of our favorite licenses will be "shrinking." I guess that means a scale change? Perhaps Marvel 1/6? Any other larger scale lines that could be "Shrunk"
I really hope that Jaws license includes 12" figures. I bet it is mostly statues though since the title character would be rather hard to do in 1/6 scale

My god, does Sideshow have a direct connection to my wallet. Just when I think they cannot get anymore of my money they come up with something new.
Now, I have no idea what they would create... I would buy 12" figures for the crew of the Orca... it would be great if they came as a set. I cannot see dragging them out like LOTR or Star Wars.
An Orca 'maquette' would be okay but some kind of "Bruce" maquette would be ideal. I could see it being a model of the mechanical shark lifted out of the water with the mechanics exposed... in the same vein as the Kong model. It would be more film history than anything else.
I am very, very curious.
Jaws is the very first film I ever saw... ever. This license holds a special place in my heart and a perfect collectible has never been produced.

Jaws has also been one of my favorite films of all time. I just don't want to swim in the ocean because of it. 
Three figures wouldn't take that long to release. If they go Star Wars style, that is only 6 weeks.

True. Either way it would be great... it would be nice to see a range of accessories. Ben Gardener's Head? A chewed up rubber raft?

What would be ideal is if they had 12" figures and a maquette of the shark rising up out of the water, in scale. An in-scale Bruce would be something like 4' 3" or so, so just the head could be doable as a PF-sized piece, couldn't it(not saying it'd BE a PF, just a similar size to one)?

A Quint 1/4 would be great also. Maybe even a Bruce the shark maquette?
If it is Jaws, then that hopefully opens up some other Universal Spielberg films. Jurassic Park, anyone? I want a Velociraptor 1/4 maquette from Stan Winston Studios!

Yeah, A diorama would be ideal... but I know it would cost a ton.. So no fun for me. Either way, a great new license for Sideshow and one step closer to an eventual Indiana Jones....(i hope).

Need a plaque from the first movie........or diorama.........with Dreyfuss and the police chief and the captain all sitting around the table below deck singing and drinking with Jaws ramming the side of the boat.

I just noticed this morning but there is a short clip of John Williams Jaws score on the site if you stay on this page long enough. This makes this seem like it will be a major announcment. I'm hoping we actually see some product vs. just having the license announced. Toy Fair cannot come soon enough!
