New sculpt started - 1/3 Alien Warrior kit - Finish

Here is a new project I am starting few weeks ago. It's based on Markus's "Alien Warrior" CG. I love the pose very much, have a great sense of movement.

After contact with Markus and also get his permission, I started the works of scuplt. It's in 1/3 scale and the tall is around 24". To be honest, it's really very huge and hard to finish.

Now the progress is around 80%, it still need to work out the details and fine-tune of pose. I would like to share my works here and welcome to give more ideas to improve.

Looks great I'm not familiar with the Markus image, can you post a link to see what your going for?

Either way the statue is awesome looking

Wow that is amazing... I'm not really familiar with the sculpting process, will this be some thing you can cast or just a one of a kind? Great work either way. Can't wait to see it finished.

This can be cast and lower part have been cast into resin to support weight of overall.

It is a really nice sculpt you have made there you should be proud of it!
I am in the process of reassembling my broken SS Aliens Warrior maquette in the same pose, but have only just commenced on the legs.

I really like it, only things i see that I feel someone should comment on is the head seems smaller than it should be and the arms seem to big. Maybe beefy, length looks fine.

Killer beginning! As mentioned, the arms are definitely not to scale with the legs. I'd say bring the arms down a notch, and the legs up a notch. Great start nonetheless.

I LOVE those 3D Alien CG models! Had the pic as my desktop at one point . By any chance will you cast and put more of these up for sale? A 1/3 Alien would easily be the centerpiece for my collection .
