Headplay is a company out of Asia that has been pumping out all kinds of celebrity and political figure look alike heads in 1/6... they are hit and miss with the likenesses and quality... but they previewed a Sean Connery head over at the OSW forum that looks pretty dang good... Will try and pull the photo over here later.. in a bit of a hurry.. (or just go to OSW and check the thread for headplay heads that started today...)

It was posted here also in the custom section...

This Connery looks really old though.

I think it's a great Connery...not sure why some people aren't seeing any of him in there.

There is a glimpse of Connery in there, but if you took away the beard I'm not sure whether he'd be as easily recognised. Headplay can pull off some great sculpts, the erratic hit-and-miss thing they've got going on is a bit frustrating seeing as how when they do hit the mark there isn't a better quality product out there for the money.

looks ok, it doesnt have connerys intensity or character. not worth an upgrade from the ss head but ok for those who missed out

Looks good, but would probably look nicer with the glasses and hat on. And he needs more grey, the all white hair is whats making him look so old I think.

If you dont nail the eyes it doesnt matter how good the rest is, and they didnt get the eyes.
That forehead is pretty meaty as well.
But you can tell who theyre trying for.
Decision: Trevor Grove retains the title.

Has anybody purchased either v1 or v2 heads?

Now that I have HT Indy, Sideshow's Henry looks kind of weird...
I'm thinking about buying v2, looks a bit younger and with more Connery-esque expression...

Has anyone ever repainted the SSC Henry? I still think it's the best likeness. The SSC paint is not as horrid as SSC Indy, but it's certainly way behind the new generation paint apps seen on the headplay heads.

I just can't recall ever seeing a single SSC Henry repaint.

Just give me a couple of days. I have one in the works!

Awesumness! Why nobody has done it before is strange, but maybe a testament to how good the sculpt looks, even with well below average paint.

I've always considered it to be SS's best figure from the Indy line. I was happy with the sculpt but lately I've been on a repaint rampage. I have a friend who's quite talented and he's been hooking me up! Can't wait to see it! I'll post pics in the next couple of days.
