Today the newest Star Wars Insider arrived today. It's not being done by Titan publishing and I like the new look. There's a article towards the front of the magazine talking about the new series. However, that's not the coolest part of this article.

Here's the blurb:

When asked about a continuation of the saga on the big screen with Epsiodes VII, VIII, IX, Lucas confirmed the story of the Skywalkers has been completed.

this can't be true. let it go george, let it go. although i don't have a problem with the t.v. show that george doesn't direct....wish it was hbo.

I got my issue too...You need to reread that quote, Josh. :lol

And I'm not sure what I think of the animated version of Yoda.

I do like the Muppet version of Maul though! :maul

I think the live-action series set between Episodes III and IV will be enough, especially if it's "Young Boba Fett"!

But I wouldn't mind an animated series set between Episodes IV and V, with the core characters, in a similar style to the Holiday Special cartoon!

I know I am in the minority in the Star Wars fan world but I would welcome more films. I doubt George would have the stamina for them though. :monkey2

I wouldn't necessarily mind more films, but I'd rather not have Lucas involved in an in-depth capacity.

We've actually already seen the sequel trilogy, in comic form at least.

From Wookieepedia: "Lucas himself actually praised Dark Empire, saying that it was the closest thing to his idea of a sequel trilogy."

Clone Emperor :pow :yuck

Or you could simply not watch them.

I'm still surprised people still subscribe to magazines these days. A star wars one at that lol.

You insufferable S.O.B.! :lol (Check your spelling of that, btw)

I've been reading the Insider since the very first issue. And before that - Bantha Tracks!

i'm more partial to I, II, and III. what do you think of this pitch? a clone wars specific movie that takes place between episodes II and III. all the stars of episode II that died or dramatically changed in III could be resurrected including padme, anakin, mace windu, plo koon, dooku, grevious...i wonder if lucas reads this board? :lol
