I think there is more versatility to a display with Dooku. Just my opinion.

Background alien? They almost have as much screentime in the overall saga as Dooku does!
You might wanna rewatch SW. I am pretty sure not only does have more screen time but he actually delivers lines and is a key part of the story.

1978 here, and while a staunch supporter of the theory OT>PT, I'd still pick Dooku over a Raider. Dooku, while underutilized, was a cool character... and Lee kicks all kinds of ass

I will agree with that... especially when I think of the nostalgia of the Kenner figures. But, for now Dooku does play a more important role overall.
Part of my problem is that I'm now much more of a purist and refuse to subscribe to notion that any characters from Lucas' painfully contrived PT are more "important" than anything from the OT.
And, admittedly, I like Dooku too and probably for the same main reason (Christopher Lee as a diplomatic Sith). But if you remove Lee how cool is the character really?

Ha, 1974. Dooku is my favorite PT character and C3P0 for the OT. I'd take either over everyone else.

lol, yea. early on my interests were Spiderman and Robots. I had nothing but Mego Spiderman junk and C3P0 stuff in my room till GIJOE ARAH came out.
My answer.. When I think of Star Wars I think "Anakin and Luke". Everything else is only an appendage of those two by association. On that totem pole of that thought (if you understand what I mean), Dooku definitely comes before a Tuskan Raider.

When I think of SW I think of Anakin and his story which of course brings in Luke/Leia. The next thing that comes to mind is Obi-Wan and his relationship to the entire story. I love the whole thing there are characters from both I can live without.

Remove Lee and I still like him. The character is a distinguished gentleman and a sith. Exceptional saber skills and has the best looking light saber of the whole series.
When i think of SW i think of lightsabers. Honestly, if there were no lightsabers in SW how cool would it still be?
