Hello Sideshow!

legacy effects presented a few days ago the first picture of Neytiri Maquette !
When will you put this masterpiece in order on your website?

I can't to see this maquette in order, thank you in advance, i see you! :hi5:

I would expect pretty soon now - I think some final production details/pricing/etc have to be worked out before the pre-ordering can begin, but just keep watching those newsletters - we promise we'll announce the pre-order first there :duff

I'm loving the piece but if they want to sell this in any kind of numbers

1) Acrylic eyes must have
2) Fix hairline.

i thought legacy effects made the first one too? and are they both the same scale? Still..........2 maquettes, IF they are the same scale, being released so close together doesnt make a lot of sense.

The SSC Neytiri is slightly smaller than 1/6 scale, in a battle pose, and $300. The Legacy piece is 1/4 scale (about three feet tall), in a museum pose, and will be around $1000 or more. Other than both of them being Neytiri they couldn't be more different.

Personally, to me this looks like another chick from the tribe. The face does not look like Neytiri at all. But maybe its just a bad angel shot. Gatta see more pictures before I decide on this one. But so far, everything BELOW her head looks great.

Agreed. Looks like a navi, just not Neytiri. I dont think it's an issue of the angle, due to the face being shown from three different angles and looks totally off from all three. A promo pic like this is taken to show the piece off in the most flattering way...correct? :)
Either way this one will be out of my price range so the Hot Toys Neytiri is my last hope to bring a nice looking Neytiri collectable home.

I don't know if it will be 1k. Iron Man and War Machine didn't hit the 1k mark and they have light up features.

AMP suite was done by Legacy, no light up feature, and price is $1200.

I'm pretty sure this one will easily go for over a $1000!

Thank you SideshowDusty :hi5: I can't wait ! :panic:

Yep, if it was developed by Sideshow it'd easily be under a thousand. But this is Lega$y we're talking about.

and you have to take into account the IM pieces are only what, like 16in tall? and yur saying this piece will be just under 3ft tall? Thats bigger than the Pred maquette that had a price at 1k and that was like 7 years ago. 1200 would be my guess on this, not that i care cause i didnt care for the movie at all :lol

What it needs is REAL hair. Sculpted hair doesn't work in such a large scale.

Bring on the Acrylic eyes for realism too!
