Ryu is 5'10" though his in-game look closer to 11 due to gear. Fig should be around 12 inches, maybe a touch under.
M30 would be perfect then. I believe when I did my research I was going off of the DoA games.

Yeah it's pretty much what they've shown for proto. Was hoping they would make the scarf more black but I guess we'll have to do it ourselves.
Just got the figure. It is a good base for mod.
Head sculpt (masked) is great, and armor pieces and swords are metal!! I wasn't expecting that.
I'll need to figure out how to swap his body tomorrow.

Just received mine…
disappointed..but I shouldn’t be surprised: it’s SW toys after all.
Floppy mess. Whatever desire of doing a review went out the effin window.
Even swapping bodies doesn’t help the cross eyed paint app.
I had low expectations for you SW…but holy crap this is TRRRRRRRASH.

Like I said the body swap might be necessary. The Shin armors and shoes are METAL!

Damn I usually don't bother with swaps but this one looks it needs it. The suit doesn't look easy to take off, dunno.
SW have gotten so bad they just sell broken figures now.

Got mine. The masked sculpt is excellent, no issue with the eyes or anything, pretty accurate shape and look.
Yeah the body sucks both function and visually. Floppy hips, though the feet are strong enough to have him stand. But my god these wrist pegs are the worst ones I've ever experienced, and I've probably had over 300+ 1/6 figures over my lifetime. They are insanely tight and floppy, even with hair dryer and hot water method, hands are very difficult to pop on and off.
If this had a better body it would be a very solid figure because all the molds are pretty good and lots of metal.

Yeah surprising how deep they seem to be going with this license. Hope the same sculptor who did Ayane does this one, because I prefer that over the stylized NG2 Ryu they did.
