Watch The Trailer!!!

It will be better than the sequels, the TV series and the cartoon, I am sure of it.

Edit: the dude who wrote for the TV show and Raven(vomit inducing show) is involved. Maybe it will suckjust as bad ass everything after the original movie.

Connor, Duncan, Quentin, Colin:monkey4 :monkey4 :monkey4

Why the hell to the have to keep going after new Macleods?!?!?

I think thats what kills it for me, well that and the just flat out crappy writing.

I would like to see new Immortals not more and more Macleods.

It may not be a good Highlander Movie but at least its going to be a good anime Movie!

Looks alot like Fist of the North Star.

To bad it wont be nearly as cool:monkey2

Why must they continue to poop on the Highlander name:confused:

Yeah, that just put a big dent in my enthusiam for this flick.

Still, it's directed by Yoshiaka Kawajiri, the man who gave us Ninja Scroll. That alone means it deserves a viewing.

Unfortunately as the first film was called "Highlander" they need a MacLeod to tie it in. Perhaps when they do the next reissue of the original film they could retitle it "Immortal: Highlander" or something so they could do exactly what you're suggesting - do stories about other immortals without having to tie it back to the Clan MacLeod. 2 immortals from the same location within 2 generations is pushing it already.

Also you'll notice that one of their upcoming projects after this is Gatchaman - the original source of G-Force, Battle Of The Planets and Eagle Riders :)

Yeah, they should do something like that, as simple rename could work.

If this is anything like Highlander: The Source it will suck badly. That film made Highlander 2 look like a masterpiece.

I've been eying this for a while now, and i'm stoked!!! This is gonna be great, I can't wait to check it out. Highlander in Anime form = :rock

lol... thats funny. let me know how it is. hopefully it will be worth picking up and watching a couple times. its been a while since i bought a good anime.

*SPOILER FREE*
alright guys, here's the down low. the movie is really really good. the writing is the only thing lacking, but that was to be expected. the animation is awesome, lots of blood and lots of kills. only a few highlanders which kinda sucked, but other than that, very good battle scenes, and lots of severed limbs. check it out, it's a good movie!
