Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

Got my head today. It's perfect, but....

This ain't gonna work? Does anyone have any ideas about widening the hole in the head or cutting down the neck?

I suggest using a dremmel, easiest way.

Oh man, thats dissapointing to see, what happened?

I also recently got my Tyler Durden head back from painting only to see the neck hole was too wide for the peg.

You could try using this trick https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78884&highlight=vaseline I haven't tested it myself but it should work.

Is that a Wolverine body? I thought it could still work, just have to really open that hole and go deep...(hmm, that didn't sound right, lol).

But it looks from your picture angles, that the neck is to wide...so,
I guess you just need to sell me that worthless Wolverine body..:)
or start to slowly grind away at the neck with a dremel and make
the hole in the sculpt as large & deep as you can. That's about your
only option if you want to use that body.

Sorry man....

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

OK i found a way to make the neck thinner.
What you have to do it removed the thing that connect the neckplug.
Sanded it a lot and then the neck will be slimmer.

Hope that make sense.

It is the Wolverine body.

I think I know what you are talking about. How hard was it to get the neckplug adapter thing out of the neck? And then put back?
Thanks.

So theres a peg running throughout the entire neck that can be thinned down and the neck will sort of deflate around it?

How did you get it out?

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

I just pulled the neck peg out. It came out really easy. It still seems like we'll have to drill the hole in the head a little deeper or trim the top of the neck to get the head low enough, but I feel pretty confident that it will work ok.

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

Yes there is a kind of translucent thing that connect the neckplug.
I sand it a lot and i mean a lot.
It will make the neck slimmer and you will be able to put the neck allright.

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

Hey guys,
just heard from Dwight so I came in to check.

Hm, that is a real bummer.
When I tried it on the Rambo body and saw a pic of the Comedian body with the modded neck, it seemed to work,
but does the wolverine body have a thicker neck?

My caster uses a standard HT TT long neck post in the casting procedure to make these modifications. I don't own a wolverine body myself (nor did I expect everyone to) so I couldn't send that to him for casting.

Let me know how Seb's idea for it works. (thanks for the idea btw)
Sorry bout all this, I did not expect it to be so

How about some pictures Seb?

I am sure you can dremel that head out and make room for the neck. it might even allow you to get rid of that bit of a double chin thing that that neck is making it look like he has. I would much rather do that than start monkeying around with a $100 body.

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

I've been working on dremmeling out the head to get it to fit the Wolverine body. From the front it looks OK to me, but from the sides it seems like it is still sitting too high. I was hoping for some other opinions. What do you guys think?

this one will be available in October-ish or maybe sooner if something changes.

I made a lot of edits so it's kind of rough at the same time because I'm not a skilled sculpt-modifier. However, I like the likeness more actually

What an improvement on an already good likeness... Might be the most accurate Willis Sculpt I've seen. Just wow!

Actually, I ended up doing both. The rubber around the neck is actually
pretty thick 1-2mm. I dremeled about 1.2mm off the neck rubber and
another 2mm off of the that clear plastic peg adaptor down inside the neck(it pulls right out with a needle nose).
It was the only way to get it to work to my liking.

Just use the light sanding wheel on the dremel and don't press to hard. It seems to be very smooth and you cant tell at all when the head is on.

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

I wound up doing both too. I pulled out the peg from inside the neck and dremelled it down but when I went to put the head on the neck it still sat too high so I dremelled out the inside of the head as well. I ground out some from the inside of the head and then dremelled the pocket that the neck plug fits into. A few test fits and some more dremelling and it looks great.

Thanks ! This is the Bruce Willis I am more accustomed to lol since he has the bald look in more of his movies

I'm glad most of you have found a way to fit the head on those muscular bodies

Re: "No f*&%ing s#*# lady! Do I sound like I'm ordering a f*&%ing pizza?"

Here's my McClane from Die Hard With A Vengeance. I don't have a suitable body right now to do the original so this will have to do for the time being.
The head is a fantastic piece of work Daniel and I apologise for my lack of painting skills but I really enjoyed working on this one:)

Thanks Daniel, I guess one is always ones own worse critic.
I got that shirt a couple of years back when I won an auction on eBay for three custom Willis figures, I have no idea of it's true origin though. The customs were cool except the heads on the earlier ones were way undersized.

Looks awesome, man. The body looks good too, where is it from ? and where did you get the badge ? I need one, haha.

Thanks man, I used a TTL 3.0 for this one and the badge came with one of the customs I mentioned above, it looks to be home made to me.

TTL 3 ? I didn't know they were textured, I asked because the neck area has some skin texture in it. I have the a TTL 1 and 2, I have yet to get me a TTL 3. Thanks for the info.
