Do a lot of lurking around here so I thought I would finally post some of my work to get some feedback from the fine members here..........hope to see a different perspective since there is a lot of sci-fi fans here. Just got into bashing about 7-8 months ago so I am open to any and all opinions, crtitiques, and advice. Thanks for looking

This is just an intro. More pics to follow as soon as I have the rest of the group done (3 figures and one more vehicle). Hope the story helps to pull you in.

Will have more for the rest of the characters......they're all referred to in this first snippet. More pics very soon.

Please let me know if the story line works or even makes sense. Thanks

Noirmageddon 2030

Big Brother

"........Come to think of it, I'm not sure where that *******'s from. He just come riding up outta the wasteland one day on a banged up moto-kett draggin that ol' trailer of his..........dropped some nice coin in my lap. Who was I to keep him out of the city? Looked a damn sight better than the usual trash that shows up looking to get in. We ain't private, but we damned sure ain't lettin just anyone in. Last thing I need is one of them white suit VRF types showing up asking questions. Two more weeks till my promotion and off this damned wall.

Now we do get the occasional wanderer that thinks this is where paradise is supposed to be. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that the folks that pay to get through the gates to Nuevo Geddon don't pay for questions. They pay so you look the other way. I've worked this wall a long time.......I know real trouble when I see it. It's not like I turned a blind eye while some sand ferals crept in and spread their pestilence like what happened out at West Gate or that time Winkle fell asleep and them three crazies from the asylum made off with that gear from the museum.

All things considered, he looked to be almost clean.....too clean to be trouble. Hell, I didn't get so much as a click from the geiger, and that's something. He didn't say word one though, like being clear of any trace of radiation is normal. Smooth character but rough at the same time.........no what I mean? Just nodded and went about his business.

Now I hear a rumor bout how Talbot out on South Gate came into a nice bit of scratch. So I catch up to ol Talbot at Central one day. He tells me bout some citizen he ain't never seen before coming out to meet two rough types. Masked men he called em. Like they was banditos from them old stories. Says the man dropped a note and some coin on him, so he lets em pass. Told me the two masked guys gave him the willies sumthin bad. Says the moved and sounded kinda funny. I guess
one of em looked his way and he dammed near pissed himself. Said whatever it was they was speaking, wasn't no language he ever heard before.....only thing he could make out was 'big brother'.

So I ask him what the note said, he tells me........... "no trouble."

Another figure and bike. A little bit of cussing here so skip to the figures if a couple of f-bombs offends ya.

What can I say? You see a white uniform and you know you're ^^^^ed. They must of thought of that when they chose em. Even their name is meant to to intimidate. VRF......violent response force. Can't imagine trying to keep them ^^^^s looking half way white around here. It's not so much the blue lights and sirens, that just makes you turn to look. It's that white ^^^^ing uniform that hits you like a spot light. You don't really worry when a brown or a grey shows up. You can talk or bribe your way out of that........................ but you see that white uniform cutting through the dirt and filth of this city and ya just freeze and start trying to think of anything you might of done wrong. Cause you know when they show up there ain't gonna be no questions. You better startvspittin out confessions or you'll be spittin out teeth, either way you're ^^^^ed.

Law Assurance officers are a joke. Even their brown uniforms reminds you of ^^^^. They're glorified Gate Jockeys that got promoted off the wall and handed a bigger stick. Fat ^^^^ers, can't find one of em without a large order of burger dumplings. Them Filipinos out by West Gate are making a killing......rob that place, and you might see some justice handed down. Hell, it don't take much to bribe a regular LA officer....guess that's why they brought in the Greys.

Greys are a harder lot, some call 'em Tunnel Hounds. They were what used to be the "elite" troops. I guess you gotta be a hard son of a ^^^^^ to go creepin around the underground in that ^^^^ing maze of old transit tubes and sewers. No telling whats still buried down there in the old city. You hardly see those guys around though. they're too busy sniffin out the ferals living in that ^^^^ or the trash trying to find another way into the city.

Wasn't till those loonies out the west gate hooked up with that trio of wanna-be intellectual terrorists that real trouble started. Use to be you'd find the occasional skirmish inside the gates, but once they got organized it all changed. i mean ^^^^-hit-the-fan. the city got bad. Central decided there were no more rules when it came to dealing with trouble. Guess it was bound to happen. Only so much ^^^^ can go down before somethings snaps. Next thing ya know there's these white suited para military types tearin ass through the city on the craziest looking bikes I've ever seen. Some crazy stuff straight out of the old days. Not one of em looks the same. We haven't seen that kind of science 'round here since the big war. some real fancy tech. if you ask me they got some something going on in that big ass building with all those guards around it that you ain't suppose to see out the South Gate.

I'll tell you this, whatever kinda tech they got, i bet i know how they get it. ^^^^s got the Brother's Grime written all over it.

Great work and great pictures. Please show more of your work.

Thank you so much for the feedback guys. It is definitely appreciated wether good or bad. I'll have more pics to share of some new bashes from this storyline this weekend I hope.

I've only been bashing since sep-oct so some of this is going to be a bit crude. still learning and refining. A lot of my inspiration comes form WWR/ Ashley Woods.

Thanks for having a look.

Here some older stuff I've done:

added the second story/intro for Noirmageddon 2030 in the first post below the Big Brother intro.

There's some really cool stuff in these pics! I love the realism and the details are amazing! If this were an actual line I'd buy them! I'm diggin the post-apocalyptic feel!

rfr5671: good to see a familiar name. I've been gathering parts for something similar. wall-e will make a good base for a war bot =)

drod26: I'll have to check that out, never heard of it before. Thanks.

evilface: thank you, love your sig pic. I have this print I still need to frame and display

mando: thank you very much. I take that as a great compliment. The realism was an accident lol. I actually love stylized figures. Unforunately I can't sculpt a lick. So you'll see a lot of the characters I make have masks or have their face partialy covered.

A couple of new pics of the VRF bike and rider:

thanks die! appreciate it.

ill jedi: Iz......ha!! finally found your hideout!! Good to see you're still alive and kicking.

a couple more to add here:

This one is actually the intro to Noirmaggedon. Should have posted this one first. The twins were on an overseas journey to the UK for some weathering from my good friend pictoplasma. Thanks Ian. I added a bit more in places.

So now they're here and the stories starts to make sense. Three more character's coming soon.

The Brother's Grime

"So you're new here uh? And you want to know about them??

I'm thinking they're all brothers, but I can't be sure. Ain't no one seen the other two without their masks on. They just sort of showed up one day and settled in. Dunno how they made through the gates looking like they did.....but they did. Lot's of folk came in after the Big War. But these guys came in years after the rest of em. Shame how all those big cities disappeared. I guess we were lucky in that sense, being a small town and all. I sure do miss them days. Any trace of a small town and a decent life got erased in the weeks after the Big War....but that was the old days. Man do I miss the old days.

They own the Brother's Grime Salvage and Reclamation Co. How they managed to set up shop is beyond me. I mean they come up out the desert in rags, cept for the oldest one. Now, other then the gear and contraptions them white suits wear and ride around on, they're outfitted with best tech this city has ever seen. Maybe it's got sumthin to do with that building they keep ride out to.

The oldest one refers to the other two as Boom and Gloom, least that's what it sounds like. Ever here one of them old soldiers that was lucky enough to survive the big blast? All that coughing and weezing? That's what it sounds like when they 'talk' to each other. Hell, I guess it could be Boone and June for all I know. I'm not sure what his name is though. The name plate on his desk says 'Big Brother Boss'........ I just calls him mister most of the time.

Not the most social guys I've ever seen, but I heard they can't be beat in 'goings on' outside the city walls........tracking, salvaging, kill....ummm camping I mean, ya....camping and surviving. They didn't get a rep and all that business by not producing. Heck, them white suits don't even mess with em. Makes you wonder don't it? Too complicated for me.....man do I miss the old days.

The masks, as I like to call em, they're like wasteland savants of a sort I guess. I reckon you got to be pretty dog-gone crafty to survive out there in the wastes for as long as they did. Speculation is they was effected by the big blast while they was in the womb.......lots of em were born that way. Lots of em died that way. Don't think any of em lived more then a couple of months........don't know if that's the case with these two, but sumthin must of happened to em. How Big Brother escaped the sickness don't make sense. No one outside the bigger towns made it....you know....no medicine and all. Hell, even most of the towns that made it folded after a few months. Lucky us......they all end up here. That's why the wall went up. Lucky us....now we're I'm stuck here with al of them.

Sure do miss the good ol days.... before the big war, before the fallout, before the wastelands, before the white suits. Back when this city was just a small town, back when I could drink without some yayhoo bothering me with questions. Sure wish I knew how they get to come and go. Wish I knew what they actually do out there.......Hell, wish I knew what's under them masks.

Welcome to Nuevo Geddon. Now beat it!"
