Yes, a place that my girlfriend and I went to was Japantown Collectibles in SF. They have everything from Sideshow, Anime, Robots.,etc. They are young collectors like us who understand that you need to check the products first before you buy. Check them out.

Oooh....a Brick and Mortar store that carries SSC? Awesome, I'll have to take the trip and check them out. Thanks!

the japantown collectibles store is kinda small but they do have alot of starwars sideshow stuff. i go there maybe twice a month. theres also another toy shop in that same plaza but mainly carry one coin figures.

This place seems pretty cool, but I never end up making it there when I go to the city.

Cards & Comics Central 5424 Geary Blvd San Francisco, CA

And there is: Things From Another World

They are/were located in the Metreon Theater building. Last time we went to the movies to see TDK, they seemed to have moved. Did get to see it they had moved to another area inside the Metreon or to another building, but they always had cool stuff and lots of SSC stuff too.

We Bay Area folks should meet up some weekend for a trip to a few shops and get a few drinks and something to eat.

thanks for the recommendations guys! i'll have to check these places out.

a Sideshow Freaks Bay Area club? i'll take everyone's pics! :D

You never really realize how many Bay Area FREAKS there are on here...:rock

Those shops are nice for window shopping, but I wouldn't buy anything from them. I make exceptions for rare imports that are not easily found online.

I agree that most brick and mortar shops charge a premium but there are many that sell pieces at retail that are far sold out....any more places to hit? My wife is dragging me to the Museum of Modern Art so I figure I'll hit some places and spend more money while I'm there. :lol

Anyone know where TFAW moved to?

Exactly. They have pieces that they don't sell and just never send back to SSC, so they keep them and still sell them at the original price. And usually they aren't much more than SSC sells their stuff for.

TFAW?? Which one is that Mike?
