Well I got my Marvel Icons (or something like that) Doom today.....I have to say that for a 12 inch figure he's not bad.....His left leg though bothers me and I'm not able to straighten it out the way I would like. But other than that...for a $35 figure....he's fairly cool......
I'll let you judge him by his pics:

My goal is to someday have a room full of boxes!! :lol Just kidding....I've got to find somewhere else to put all these....I want my bedroom back.

Holy Crap!!! thats a lot of boxes!!!!:lol :lol :lol :lol
I used to collect the Icons but i thought that the statues were better so now i collect statues and i sold my icons....i still miss them:monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2

Very nice, but wait $35....Hasbro raised the price that much for the ML icons?

Still can't find Doom retail but all my regular online spots got him for $23.99.
So I wait...

I will have to do a number on his cloak if he's going with the rest of my Icons.

It was less than that but with shipping and everything it was around $35..or maybe $32....yes I'm lazy and didn't bother to go out around the city and look for one....it's so much easier to just buy online...plus I probably would have had to pay about $20 for parking anway...so I figure I got a fair price online. :lol

Hey, its all good. I sometimes do the same, use to hunt all the time, but I realized it just wastes gas and my time. :rock

I got doom tonight too. I'd been anxiously awaiting him and though im a bit dissapointed in the lack of articulation (swivel neck, no bicep swivels) and the fact that he has no removable mask (i managed to pry it off and he has a partially sculpted/painted face so you can see it through the eyeholes).

Still its an affordable version of sideshows doom, that can be posed and played with how cool is that? I added a twistie into the inside of his hood to allow poseability, im spoiled by sideshows jedi hoods:

Those photos look awesome Magnuz!!! I'll have to add a twistie to my hood as well! :D

Wow the Twistie mod to the hood looks great. Can you post just how you did it? I'm interested in picking this figure up and will definitely follow suit!

The hood is two layers of fabric with the seam in the back. So theres space in between the two layers to put a wire, though it can shift from front to back you just kinda have to pull it foward when posing.

All you gotta do is prick a little hole at the base of one side of the front of the hood where it meets the cape, and slide the twistie up in between the two layesr of the hood. Then feed it around the front "edge" till it is down the other side. Pull it foward and then pose the edge around so the hood sits the way you want just like you would with the sideshow jedi hoods. It's not too complicated though i may have made it sound that way heh.

Great pics Magnuz!

Jen, it's always funny that in any pic with boxes, you can easily tell which is the Hulk PF! That makes a corner of your wall alone!
