Not so funny story

Well I was more than excited to receive my Emma Frost maquette from Mike at Razor's Edge today. To my surprise when I opened the box, there was a UPS shipper that said Emma Frost EXCLUSIVE . My heart went in my throat and I didn't believe it. I thought Mike was being overly generous and had seen a few of my posts in regards to getting an exclusive. I opened the box and there was the glorious print that I have been wanting. :chew

Such a nice gesture surely needs some sort of thank you so I emailed Mike to thank him and ask what I did to deserve such kindness.

He then proceeded to inform me that it was a mistake and I was shipped the wrong one.

So she has been packed up and will be shipping out tomorrow.

Talk about a kick in the nuts.




I still love you Mike and if you read this please don't think I'm bashing you. I have nothing but nice things to say about Razor's Edge.

Wow, people are really jerks some times. If this did happen to me I would send it back. I would feel really guilty keeping something that wasn't meant for me.

Trust me, the idea of not saying anything crossed my mind for a second. But I couldn't and wouldn't do that to Mike (or any of you wonderful dealers)

I guess you just have to think about what you would want to happen if your exclusive got sent to somebody else by mistake. If the tables were turned, I think we would all want the return to happen so that we could get the piece that was meant for us in the first place. I had an order get switched once (not from Razor's Edge) and the other person would not send it back and I was unable to get a replacement.

But it's still a bummer for you when you thought you got the exclusive!! What goes around comes around, and you will one day be rewarded for your honesty.
