Obi Wan question (episode 3 related)

Got another question for the experts here please. I was wondering what the highest quality figure EVER released of Obi Wan from Episode 3 is? I dont want a statue, but something I can pose with a lightsaber in different positions.

There are several out there..... what is the highest quality figure? Who made it? And anyone have a link or photos? I am going to have to get one. I just found WAY too many when I started searching ebay... it was just too much for me! LOL

Way too many? 12" Figures? That is news to me. The Sideshow version is the only non-statue 12"er that I have seen.

not counting statues the only "action figures" of episode 3 obi wan are made by hasbro and sideshow.

the 12 inch sideshow version is the best available.

Sorry sorry, what I meant to say is that when I searched for Obi Wan figure, there were too many choices. I should have been far more clear on that - sorry. Also, I didnt mention 12" at all.... I dont care how big it is.

But, I see the nice SSC version, that is very cool.

Now, I have to decide which Darth Vader to get....:emperor :emperor

Yeah, the SSC is the best one out there of the character. Not very many others that can touch it. Especially with a water treatment and repaint.

Wow... I really REALLY thought there would be more out there avaliable as far as high quality Obi Wan poseable figures. I was shocked when I actually started clicking on links at ebay. Seems like most are cheap plastic figures.

I guess I will go with that beautiful Sideshow Toy Obi Wan. I may need to do a few adjustments to customize it to my liking.........:chew :chew :chew

Sadly, as great a portrayal as it was, EP3 Obi-Wan hasn't gotten the merchandising support he should. As far as great representations of that appearance, I'd rank the top 3 as 1) SSC Obi-Wan, 2) Kotobukiya Obi-Wan, 3) Hasbro Unleashed Obi-Wan.

how many companies do you think make star wars figures? all that's really out there is hasbro for the kid toys and sideshow 12 inch figures for the adult collector.

were you expecting to see 12 inch obi-wan figures made by DC direct, medicom, hot toys and mattell? obi-wan ain't superman.

It looks like the Gentle Giant ESB Yoda. Very nice and can be had quite cheap.

Yep that is the one... not in my setup any longer... replaced with my VCD Yoda. But he was a nice stand-in.

And to answer the question about Mace.. no, still on the stock SSC body. But underneath that cloak his knees were buckled a bit (in a pose), so he looked shorter.

nice setup Josh!!! very similar to the one that i have. i hope they eventually make some more of the background jedi masters so i can recreate the scene from ROTS in palpatine's office!!!!
