Official 1/6 Rambo Thread

There are several threads scattered everywhere about the figures in this line, and since it seems to keep growing, I figured I'd start a thread to consolidate discussion about these awesome figures. To get things rolling, here are some photos I took tonight, anxiously awaiting my Rambo 3 figure.

Dude, Maulfan, is that the actual First Blood Rambo figure? What I mean is you didn't make any after market altercations to it did you? Mainly the head sculpt/mold? Because from what I have seen that head sculpt looks crappy. But DAMN, if it looks that good like it does in your pics, then I am getting that figure!!!

Dude, Maulfan, is that the actual First Blood Rambo figure? What I mean is you didn't make any after market altercations to it did you? Mainly the head sculpt/mold? Because from what I have seen that head sculpt looks crappy. But DAMN, if it looks that good like it does in your pics, then I am getting that figure!!!

That is the factory sculpt, the only mod I made to the figure was I used some thread to mold the cloth parts of his head band because they were fraying all over.

Like I've said before, from the Rambo 2 through Rambo 3 figures, you can see a definite gradual improvement in their capture of Stallone's likeness and their paint apps.

Rambo 2 > First Blood v.1 > Rocky Balboa > Rambo 3 > First Blood v.2
Each has been better than the previous.

Yeah, I passed on the first 3 Rambos, but picked up a Trautman to go with my v2 Rambo FB P1 when released. I'll prolly get FB P1 accessories to go with him and figure out the headband later, but that FBP1 V2 sculpt is just amazing.

Yeah but P, Homecoming Rambo has the poofy feathered hair and won't work for Fugitive John J. Not to mention he has that docile "Could you tell me where Delmar Barry lives?" expression on his face. You gotta get v.1 First Blood Rambo in all his testosterone glory.

We'll see D, maybe I will. I'll have to see how it works, expression wise.

But I'd rather get a raging Dennehy first. Which will never happen.

I have the Rambo 3 figure, the likeness is awesome. it's the best in my eyes.
but i would like to have trautman to go with him.

Hey guys. I'm collecting these great Rambo movie figures too! I have the HALO Jumper Rambo, the Rambo II "red headband" (I like to call him that)figure, and I'm working on getting the First Blood and Rambo III figures piece by piece. What I headache! I should have bought them MIB! I also have the Colonel Sam Trautman still MIB. I'll wait until I move and have more room for displaying my figures before opening the Colonel. Here's some pictures of my "red headband" Rambo II figure, and the HALO Jumper Rambo II figure....

I got the M-60 machine gun from the crappy N2Toyz "Hardened" Rambo 12" figure. It looks alot like the M-60 Rambo grabbed off of the Huey helicopter at the end of the movie. "Find them, or I"ll find you!"

I'll add some pictures of the First Blood Rambo, and the Rambo III after I finally get them pieced together in about the next month or so. I'm really looking forward to that new "casual" Rambo from the beginning of First Blood in his green U.S. Army jacket! The head sculpt looks great! I've already pre-ordered it from Sideshow. I love what Hot Toys is doing with this Rambo line. I've been a big Stallone fan most of my life since the first Rocky movie. I'd love to see Hot Toys make a new John Rambo (aka "Rambo 4") figure for the movie next summer! I enjoy the Rocky movie figures they're making now too!

Awesome pics, was it fun displaying the Halo Jumper and adding all the gear? Man this one drove me nuts assembling together, awesome looking figure.

Yeah it was a bear to get that chute on him! Now, I have to do it again soon. I used the black pants from the HALO Jumper for my "red headband" Rambo II since I got the Rambo II body loose on eBay without any pants. But I have some more Rambo II black pants coming in soon that I'll put on my HALO Jumper Rambo. I will get my other Rambos completed soon too. I like your username picture Voorhees27! That's a great scene from First Blood when the cops are chasing him and he's on the motorcycle. I have the Rambo Ulitmate Edition DVD collection in the cool silver "tin" box. Awesome set with an extra DVD of Rambo extras. Do you have it?

I did buy the Ulitmate Edition DVD collection but mine came in regular packaging and only the 3 discs not a forth. Post pics, I haven't seen this set yet.

I can take pictures later today, it's about 5 years old though, doubt you'd find anything but what you have in stores, maybe eBay or Amazon might have the metal tin set still available. The only real difference is they don't have deleted scenes like your copies do.

I love these figures, Can't wait to score a Rambo III and the First Blood V.2. I have loved each and every one so far, they are some top notch figures.
