I think Darkman is a truly underrated movie. It's one of Sam Raimi's best. I just wish Bruce could have starred in it like originally planned.

It's a bit premature but I do think that's what Criswell is predicting for tomorrow.
I hope it's going to be 1:6 figures!

I like Raimi's directing style a lot more in this movie compared to some of his later work. Even compared to the Spider-man movies.

After hearing the predictions I actually first thought of The Shadow. He's known to disguise himself a lot, and Criswell also said "shadows." Darkman makes a lot of sense though, and I am a fan of the movie.

No, it's a Raimi flick about a disfigured guy that can disguise himself with fake skin. Mix the Phantom of the Opera with Batman, and you've pretty much got Darkman.

The artificial skin Darkman uses to disguise himself only lasts a very limited time. Then it melts off of his face. The quote likely refers to that. I didn't catch that part, though, so thanks for mentioning it. It clinches the prediction for me.

Of course, I was also one of the people who was most vocal in his prediction of a Vader 12"...
