Any freaks playing this yet on the PS3?
I was thinking of getting it until I found out it was Multi-Player only. It looks realy good, but got bad reviews due to it not having a story mode.Don't know. Its multi player only and didn't want to buy it if others don't have it.

If enough freaks get it, I may get it to play with you guys.
G'day All
Playing this awesome game at the moment. This game is not about story lines, plots or single player. It's just a good old fashioned blasting things and quick games. There are a few different types of game types, Capture the flags, Zones, Team Battle and Dog fights.
Graphics are top notch, especially on a 42" plasma and controls and feel of the game are really tight and user friendly. Initially the flight controls were a little akward but after switching to Pro flight mode it really helps.
Basically this game is for the quick burst of fun any time you feel like it. No story line to keep track of or to slow the action down. It is just good old fashioned fun.
My PSN user name is the same as this one, zedex9r, feel free to add me to your friends list.
If you own a PS3 you must get this game, if you don't own a PS3 you must get one
cheers
Yeah you are right. There is nowhere near anything like this on the 360
Since when did this thread become about 360 vs PS3?? I didn't mention anything about the XBox360. My comments were about the game itself and that if you dont own the machine capable of playing this game, then get one. Otherwise you will miss out on a great, simple fun game.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with PS3. My experience with the Sony is so much different to yours. I have had so much fun with it since launch, that my Xbox 360 is not been turned on as much anymore (although Bioshock has me turning it on lately) I use my PS3 as a media centre in my movie room, using it to store photos, music, movies and as a secondary internet browser for when I don't want to get up off the lounge Oh, and don't forget as a Blu-Ray player and to play games. Awesome.
I actually like the fact that Warhawk is permantly installed on my PS3's harddrive. It was only a small file (800mb - smaller than most demos). This means if I want a quick game I don't have to worry about swapping discs over with whatever is in the PS3 at the time, game or Blu-Ray movie. I thought it was a great option to be able to download it from the PS online store, or if you don't like that, you can still purchase it from a bricks and mortar store.
Warhawk can be a bit frustrating trying to get into a game sometimes. I got this game on Australian launch day and it was all but impossible to get onto a game. But since then there have been a couple of updates, some more servers put up and now I can pretty much get on when I want.
I would be one of those players who don't talk, and that is because like alot of others, we didn't purchase the retail version which came with an included headset. It will change once people start getting bluetooth headsets.
My point is that I didn't get on here to be a particular console "fanboy". I have owned pretty much every console made since 1980, so I have seen it all. I have seen some dissapear (eg Saturn, Dreamcast) and I have seen others appear (eg XBox, Playstation). All I want, is to play great games no matter what console they are on. Just like I will get a great figure no matter who makes it (Sideshow, Hot Toys, Medicom etc) or even purchasing custom figures to get what I want.
And just because I couldn't help myself, and because you said the truth hurts, I present this:
Sorry, couldn't resist
Cheers
I'm not even going to respond.
You just did, butthole.
Again, since when did this thread become about the PS3 vs Xbox360??
This is the "Official Warhawk Thread" about Warhawk, that you started, asking if anyone was playing it. My response was yes, and I also wanted to give a mini review to let others who have yet to play it, get an idea of what the fuss is all about.
If this game was on the XBox360 I would have still given the same review. Like I said, I don't care what machine I use to play games, just so long as the games are great! Was it the fact that I told people who haven't got a PS3 to get one, so that they can access this game, the reason you felt you had to get back with fanaticism for the XBox 360? When Halo 3 comes out, I am sure that I will be teling as many people as I can to buy the 360, so that they too can play a great game (fingers crossed) Just as I have with Bioshock.
You say you own all three consoles and that you have the right to say which one is better. Well guess what, I also own all three, plus as I mentioned I have also owned almost every console made since 1980. I think this also gives me the right to say which one is the best But I don't care. See how this argument sounds pretty stupid
What really annoys me about all this is it makes me out as some sort of Sony "fanboy" when (as I will mention again) own both the PS3 and 360. But the truth is I like the 360 as much as anything else, but lately the PS3 has been turned on more often at my place. But everyone is different and everyone uses their consoles for different reasons.
Again, I got onto this thread to talk about Warhawk, not to get caught up in the usual PS3 vs 360 crap. Sorry mate, but I calls em I sees them too
For now I wanna get back into playing Warhawk. See if I can get better than 26 kills in a match with the S.A.M launcher and try not to die as much
Lets agree to disagree and get this thread back on track. If we feel the need to blow each other up, lets do it in Warhawk
Cheers
$59.99 It also comes with some exclusive video content. I haven't checked it out yet. The headset takes some work to get it running. God forbid I go into any details without hurting someones feelings. It is a pretty nice headset though. It started to hurt my ear after a while.
I think you're taking things too seriously around here.
