Up for auction is an original Nintendo NES gaming system with 1 hand control. There are 5 games with it. They are, Family & Fitness Stadium Events in the original box with the dust jacket inside of the box, Major League Baseball in the original box with the dust jacket inside of the box, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 the arcade game in the original box with the dust jacket inside of the box, Super Mario 3 in the original box with the dust jacket inside of the box and the original game, Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt. I have had this stored in the closet for years for my kids to play but the way that electronics come & go and change from one year to the next they wanted all of the new hot items of their own now and now it's time to get rid of things that are no longer being used or wanted. This system worked perfect when i stored it but somehow over the years, we have managed to misplace the AC cord & the television hook up. I am listing this and selling without hook up but it I find them, i'll send them along with the rest at no additional charges to you. Please keep in mind though that any ac cord will work with this and the hook up from a VCR would hook it up just as well as the original cords!

A Nintendo and five games recently sold on eBay for a staggering $13,105 (plus $13.95 shipping -- cheapskate!). Why? Because a Bandai 'Stadium Events' game BOX is worth $9,500. *cough* WHAT?

Stadium Events is incredibly rare, and the manual and (most importantly) the box even moreso. The value breaks down something like this:
$2,000-game
$1,500-manual
$9,500-box

Wow, I knew some of the Nintendo games were insanely valuable... but never knew they were that much :google

Wonder if the seller knew what he had, or if he just got the best surprise of his life :lol

it's that stadium events game that they're going nuts over... something like 10 copies in circulation.

Sounds about right. There's some rarer games that sell for more. I read an article in a game magazine once that had a list of the most valuable games that get the most money. There's one game that was never sold and was only made and used for a game tournament. I forget how many copies were produced, but they sell for sh#t tons of $$$$

Wow. I could think of 10,000 other things I'd rather have for that kind of money instead of an NES game.

DW... here's another thing to look for during our time machine shopping trip :lecture

Might as well look for Bill Gates and invest some money... maybe kill the Kardashian's mom while we're at it.

:lol Holy smokes! I doubt the seller was even aware that one of the games was worth so much. He probably would have mentioned the rarity of it and put it in his title. Instead, he titled the auction "ORIGINAL NINTENDO GAME SYSTEM LOT/ CONTROLLER/ 5 GAMES." Just think if he would have listed that particular game for $5 buyitnow since he didn't know its value.:google
