One Word... "Leather" Help!

Okay help please someone, this is driving me nuts. I've been looking for a guess ya call it pleather with fabric backing for some time. Best example of what kind is the Star Wars Anakin shoulders robes and Terminator Jacket. I've been trying to find the exact same and no luck... Anyone know where to find!!!??? Please help going cwazy!

Checked Jo-Ann, sorry should have mentioned. They have some, but it's not the right texture... IK IK I'm a perfectionist... Is it just my select Jo-Ann? Cause it's pretty small.

Go to a thrift store and buy a cheap thin pleather/leather jacket/purse/whatever.

what type of texture? I don't own anything starwars so i have no idea.

The stuff i have is like the 89 Batman cape

This is what I'm after, it's like a fake leather of some sort and has a black 4 way stretch fabric backing.

The shoulder pieces in the image is what I'm looking for. Works great for belts and such too.

Try fabulessfabrics.com. check out their pvc leather and they may have stretch leather.

Yeah now see, that's what I got too. Holds up to paint as well. But the texture is way to big... like 7x bigger texture. I'll post a pick on what I mean tomorrow.

Does it really need to stretch? Joanns does have 'blackboard' black leather which is soft when you remove the backing. Easier to sew and does have a little give to it after the backing is removed. Very small texture too.
