When the Celtic Predator comes out, I'm planning on using it as a base for a custom, something somewhat winter themed with blue verdigris copper armor and white fur and white (and/or natural) leather.

Anyway, I'd really like to be able to totally repaint the body (patterned after a blue ring octopus) and I have no idea what I need to do to do that. I assume I need to disassemble the body and probably use a sealer of some sort.

Any suggestions on how to go about doing this? I know other people have painted Predator bodies before.

I think the best way would be to use acrylics with an airbrush. You would want to keep your layers as thin as possible to avoid friction on joints rubbing paint off.
Maybe give it light seal inbetween layers as well.

I recommend using Liquitex brand Paint it's pretty durable.

Well I know how to paint, more concerned with disassembly.
