Can't wait. Big Adventure is easily my favorite Tim Burton movie and one of my all-time favorite movies in general.

That looks like a lot of fun. I can't think of anyone who didn't love Pee Wee's Big Adventure, honestly.:lol

There was some discussion in a custom Pee Wee figure thread, but nothing outside of that that I've seen. Very much looking forward to this. I think Reubens is one of the more creative comedic minds in TV/movies over the last few decades. The Pee-Wee character and universe is so distinctive and interesting.

I'm really looking forward to watching this. I have no expectations on it, considering Pee Wee has only been in two movies I love (Big Adventure and cameo in Back to the Beach).

I am looking forward to watching it but my girlfriend let slip she has been freaked out by him since she was a little kid. Looks like i will be watching alone. :rotfl

I want to watch this one, but House of Cards and Daredevil Season 2 are both higher priorities at the moment. Then probably Bosch on Amazon Prime. So many great things to watch, with so little time (for me, anyway).

I never really got Pee-Wee. I mean, the Pee-wee's playhouse crazyness I found funny as a kid, but I never got the movies...and I have to say, I didn't get this one, either. And I LIKE stupid humor. There were a couple of scenes that got a smile out of me, but nothing that really made me laugh.

Though I have to say Joe Manganello (however you spell it) was really good. He played himself as an over-the-top slightly rediculous version of himself, and it really worked. Reminded me of Neil Patrick Harris' performance in Harold and Kumar, but in a more kid-friendly way.

Pee-Wee is such a distinctive type of character and humor. I've never seen anything else really close to it. It appeals to kids on one level, and adults on another level entirely (going back to his old HBO live special). But I can totally understand someone not understanding it at all, because it is just so weird. But that's comedy for you in a nutshell. I personally don't get a lot of the Adult Swim stuff that folks are really into nowadays, like the Tim and Eric Show (though I'll find bits and pieces hilarious).
