It's that time of year - time to vote on your favorite pop culture collectibles of 2012! The industry awards voting has also begin for the Poppies, and the judges have spent several months developing the nominees for the ballot. I think they did a great job, with lots of strong contenders in every category. You can find the ballot for the People's Picks here:

https://www.mwctoys.com/poppies_peoplespicks_2012.htm

And if you'd like to see the list of esteemed industry judges who are currently busy voting on this same ballot for the Poppies, you can check it out here:

The voting will only be open for two weeks, so get your vote in now!

I went with Joker as well... an incredibly impressive piece. I'm very out of the loop on the smaller scale figures so like last year I abstained on a few.

Funny how Metal Gear Rex is listed as a male character. I also found myself voting for Joker and the HT Batman line, even though I didn't personally get that figure or Keaton Bats. Glad to see the block figure category added, and though I suspect LEGO will easily win, at least Minimates are there as an option!

Voted!:lecture

Had to really think about a few due to there being more then one really good choices in some categories.

Wow, Bowen Designs doesn't get a nod for best company among all those others? I stopped reading right there. LOL

Anomaly .... For best paint... City Hunter Predator (by HT) is not out in 2012 (and still not released yet 10 days into 2013)

Metal Gear Rex hasn't been released yet either, but was nominated.

I'll yell at the judges a bit more next year to make sure they are remembering what has and hasn't hit - it can be tough with 150 of them. I wouldn't sweat it though, since neither really stands a chance of winning.

Wow, I finally got to vote for once. I ALWAYS miss this!

I voted for SSC on a lot. Not everything. My standout vote was for the Tesla. I own it and know first hand that it's an amazing piece of work.
