PF pro sports statues

I was wondering why SS have not gotten any sports licenses to make some super stars in sports in PF or 1/5 scales? There seems to be a demand for thats stuff especially the new rookies coming into the sports scene. I'm not into these but other people might be. Just a thought.

Licensing is probably fairly expensive, not to mention I don't know what possible exclusives arrangements other companies have (MacFarlane?). If you're getting more than just a very select few players, then you need to go the Player's Association. And that does not include use of team logos. Also the time delay from concept to production to final product make capitalizing on "hot names" difficult.

All fair points but I don't see it being much more difficult than securing movie licenses and individual actor likenesses within those movies.
