PF waiting list. Do you ever get a statue?

Hello. I'm new to the forums and only trying for my first premium format.
If you go on the waiting list is there really a chance to get a statue?
Trying to get GL and looks like they've been out a while. Very expensive on eBay.
Are they still producing them at this point or is it a waste of time.

It really depends on how soon you go on the waiting list after it sells out... The longer you wait to get on the list the less chance you have.

With GL I think the only chance you have is if people who got a replacement statue how to break their original one, then you might have a shot since then SS has to create a new batch in order to replace the ones that are destroyed, which could take several months... So it's a gamble

It seems to me like early wait list reservations almost always convert. Honestly, I wouldn't wait long after statues sell out. So best chance might be another retailer that still has Green Lantern.

I read a story once where someone was on a waitlist for over a year and a half and forgot they put them self on it and it ended up converting. They ended up with a perfect statue too. Anything is possible, but its not likely to convert if the item has been sold out for a long time. If you get on right after it sells out you probably have a pretty good chance of getting one.

Always worth jumping on.
Sideshow play around with numbers so much I'm pretty sure items go WL while there's still plenty available.
Getting on the WL within a month should be a certain conversion.
As said, the sooner you get on the better.

Always had my waitlists convert. Best one was Supes EX PF
Hopped on the list just last Feb 23.

Only waitlist I didn't have convert was the Green Lantern EX.

I mean, if they're only making 1500, how long does it take them to produce and deliver that many? People were receiving them 8 months ago. I don't understand the way they operate by letting how many people go on a wait list if they're all sold. Is there an infinite number of the wait list? A point where it just says"sold out"?

I've converted for Spiderman comiquette Ex and Harley Quinn Ex. So it does happen. But I'm still waiting on Cap Ex.

I've had 50/50 luck so far. I tried for the Bowen Designs Modern Black Panther statue and didn't get one, but I recently converted on the Obi-Wan Kenobi Mythos statue after being on the wait-list since August. Obi-Wan alone proves that it's always worth a shot.

I've only hopped on the waitlist for the Batman PF Ex and it converted since there's a lot of them.

Haven't tried for anything else yet.

I'll tell you my experiences with it, but your going have to wait a bit. I am still on the wait list for a few items, and I don't want to jinx my chances.

There's a chance but no guarantee. I didn't convert on the Punisher ex. I hopped on board pretty early for that one.

I've had a few WL conversions that didn't convert. Back when I started collecting Gambit EX was on wait list in 2011, didn't get it but ended up with a Reg before it got really pricey. I also WL Colossus EX and Droids EX the day of PO but we all know how that went.

My conversions:
Joker Ex, but I waited for the WL on purpose
Rhino Ex, didn't want him without Spidey, got my Spidey Ex so hoped on the WL
Storm White Costume Ex, I missed when it up to a quick sell out but I kept refreshing the page until the WL button popped up and hopped on quickly

I think I WL Psylocke Ex and probably one other comic female PF that converted but can't remember if they were conversions or last minute orders before the WL.

Now that I've been collecting for a few years I just order what I think I want. I can always sell later or transfer my PO to someone who missed out. I hope to not WL ever again.

Ive had a waitlist convert, and same have had some not convert..like others have said..it depends when u get on the list and which character it is..in most cases though if u get on like a day or 2 after it goes on waitlist and theres say about 300 of them, you should be able to convert, as from the PO time to ship time tons can happen, like CC declines, ppl changing their mind, etc.
