It came damaged, so in order to get a new one Sideshow requires you to destroy the damaged one.

It came damaged, so in order to get a new one Sideshow requires you to destroy the damaged one.

That's interesting. I remember people had to do that with the Stealth comiquette, but recently I received a damaged Red Skull Ex. and in order to get a replacement, Sideshow request I send it back to them. Why the different circumstance? *not trying to get off topic* (If you can't tell I'm still new to the Sideshow return policy.)

Im sure the decision to destroy is dtermined by the cost to ship back vs the cost to replace. or something like that.
Dont think Ive ever seen anybody within the states have to destroy a piece. Must be cause its so big and expensive to ship..

Hell... I wonder why SSC just doesn't file an insurance claim with the courier (UPS/FEDEX).

If the pieces go through QC before they are shipped, I assume the damage occurred during transit.

So WTF?

Thanks occulum. That's makes sense. I'd much rather ship a Red Skull over a Thing anyday! Thing is HUGE and he's not very easy on the wallet when it comes to shipping either, hence your point is well made.
