Flop is not really the right word. I don't much care about the money movies bring in, but people continue to be amazed that Sandler movies are still being made. It's because they do insanely well with the general audiences. Paul Blart and Chuck and Larry each made nearly $190 million. Both Grown Ups movies grossed more than half a billion together.

The movies might be crap, but they are far from flops. Kids love them and families like to go to these movies together. Like it or not, Sandler and Co. makes studios ridiculous amounts of money and will therefore continue to be allowed to make movies.

I'm dreading this a little because pretty much every movie Sandler and james has been in has been a steaming pile of **** but I'm hoping this can be that one that doesn't exactly break the streak but rather is that one movie that was actually really good before they started their second streak of **** movies.
