Maybe this should be blog and not a thread. But today I have begun the brain work for making my own TARDIS (Hartnell Era1963 /Davison Era 1980... not sure which yet). I am going to be as specific as I can so as to leave a trail for those who want to embark on this same project.

These are the pics I have begun working from:

I have determined that Character Options makes their figures at 1:13.2 scale and the blueprint above is in 1:15.4 scale. So I just need to take the blueprint measurements, convert them to 1:1 and then convert them again to 1:13.2.

I can't help but agree with Galactiboy here. Marc is hardly intelligent or capable enough to go through with this.

I expect a third grade project... a phone booth made of popsicle sticks, elmer's glue, elastic bands, coloured in blue felt marker. Oh, and the letters in the words to be reversed and of course misspellings.

Let the epic fAIL commence!!!

Also, I am now thinking he'll forgo the popsicle experiment as it's just too much work and wrap blue construction paper around a 1L milk carton, and illustrate (very poorly) two doors crudely drawn with a crayon. The very crayon he used to stick up his nose before he took on the project. Oh, here's the icing on the cake, he'll then cut out doors from the box blatantly ignoring the fact that there is still milk inside the contents of the carton, getting it all over the place, causing a huge mess. I fear for Marc. Just say no to this project.
