Did any of you guys buy any of those Playboy Playmate Dolls? I think there were four or five made before the manufacturer of them cancelled the line. I bought the first one, but after I found out it was nothing more than a statue I didn't order anymore. Not that I wanted to do anything nasty with it, but it's like all my other Action Figure, every now and then you want to change the look up a little.
Worse for me is, I think the third one looked the best of all, but it wasn't anything more than a statue either. It's been years, but I'm pretty sure I paid more than a Hundred for it and from what I see on EBay, a seller would be "lucky" to get $75 for one now. I never removed mine fron the twist ties (or whatever it was they used), packed it away and just recently pulled it out and thought about selling it.
I borrowed this picture from Whalestorm, an online seller, just too lazy to take a picture of mine. Anyone else thought about the same?

I got the Karen McDougal one as an X-mas gift years ago. She pretty much sits in her box in the garage with all the Hasbro toys I owned as a kid, waiting for to appreciate to at least the value of a Sideshow figure. :lol

Want another? There are a couple of Sideshow Toys POTA figures I still need.

:lol The point of me waiting to sell mine is to get rid of it, but doing so with enough scratch to pick up a figure I want. Buying another would be counterproductive to that. Then again, maybe I'm just being stupid and these things will always be worthless and better off sold for $20 to some horny kid at a yardsale who'll appreciate it superficially. :lol

I think the latter was more correct, I wish I’d never bought the thing. I probably at the time could have bought any (maybe two) of the POTA figures I needed from Sideshow; all exclusives, Forbidden Zone Taylor (Dirty version), Jailer Soldier Ape, Mutant Jailer, and Mutant City Prisoner Taylor.

I’ve got all the Mego figures from the 70’s (no play sets though), all the Hasbro ones, hated the new movie so I didn’t buy and thing from it, and the three Hot Toys gorillas. The new Battle/Conquest /Beginning; whatever they’re calling it just looks like nothing but a bunch of CGI. So It’s nothing but the Classics for me.

Maybe if you buy mine that horny kid can enjoy them even more superficially and he’ll be willing to give you more that $20 bucks each.
