I am sometimes a wuss when it comes to scary movies. I love them but I find that I wimp out and can't watch the ending.:horror
So this thread is to find out what happened at the end of these movies.
I will be posting different movies when I have time.

I recently watched The Mist and wimped out after they tossed the army guy out the front door. Please tell me what happened after that and no fake endings.:D

This is a sarcasm and insult free zone. Oh and no poop either!

Wow, if you really want to know I can post it here. But it is a BIIIIIIG spoiler for those who haven't seen it. I will use the Spoiler box.

OK, so after the people that follow the religious nut throw the army guy out of the store, David decides that he wants to leave the store to save his son. The people that also want to leave are Amanda, Irene, Ollie, Dan, Bud, Myron, and Ambrose. They try to leave, but Mrs. Carmody and her religious freaks try to stop them. After they try to kill the group, Ollie, who has the gun, shoots Mrs. Carmody twice and kills her. They then leave. Bud, Ambrose, and Myron do no make it and are attacked by the monsters while heading toward the car. Irene, Amanda, Dan, David and his son head to Davids SUV. A giant monster kills Ollie in the process, leaving the gun on the hood of the car. David grabs the gun and the rest of the group get in the car and they drive away to safety. Now we only have David, Dan, Irene, Amanda and the son left. After they run out of gas, they agree that they do not want to die being killed by the monsters. There are only 4 bullets left. They agree that they must die, and David should be the one to pull the trigger. He shoots his son, Irene, Dan and Amanda and kills them. After crying and shouting in rage he steps out of the car where he sees a light coming toward him. It is the army, who have begun the process of destroying the monsters. The fog has lifted as well at the point the army comes in. As the army convoy drives by, David sees the woman from the beginning of the movie who left the store because she needed to get home to her two children. She did not die at all. We do not know what happened to the rest of the people in the store though. Pretty depressing ending, but a shocker and very different from traditional endings.

yeah funny ending..the main protagonists were a bunch of dumb asses...:lol

They gave up too soon, but he kept his promise of not letting the monsters get his son.

But something else to think about it. The crazy bible thumping chick said they must sacrifice the boy. And in the end when the boy died, the mist lifted.

It was a little too fast for me....worst decision ever, mist immediately disappears just to crush your soul. That doesn't effect how much I like the movie, though.
As far as effed-up endings go I still go with Seven. I think time and familiarity have diluted it a bit.

My wife and I hated this film and its ending. I got mad over the religious woman, almost to the point I wanted to turn the film off. all that God stuff really gets me angry.

I read a book when I was a teenager... it wasn't the one which The Mist was based on (was the original story also called The Mist?)

Anyway, it was slightly similar only more about mutated humanoids taking over the earth. It had an ending a lot like The Mist, and it made me feel so sick... and depressed for weeks. It was horrible. The end to this movie was like a huge punch in the face. Blah.

Actually King's story did not end that way BUT I read an interview in which he said he would have done that if he had thought of it. :lol

I think King is one of our national treasures. :rock
