Long story short, I'm hoping to do a custom Jack Sparrow, using the HT outfit, but with a repainted head wigged in mohair. I'm stuck as to which head to use, though. Ordinarily, I'd go with one of the HT ones or xenoviper's, but none of these have ears, which would be annoying with real hair. It occurred to me that maybe the Edward Scissorhands head might work, with the scars sanded down, but I don't have masses of experience with this scale, so I'd love to hear what you creative Freaks think. :)

The only problem with the HT Scissorhands is that it doesn't look like Johnny Depp at al. Maybe another one of Xenoviper's headsculpts might do the job? Ask him.

It doesn't? Aaaw, that's too bad. I've looked at Xeno's other Depp heads, but while they look a lot like Depp, I'm having a hard time seeing them as Jack Sparrow (and thanks for the link! I'm actually getting Xeno's smirking Sparrow, but it doesn't have ears either).

What is the general opinion on the Medicom Sparrow head? I'm talking pure sculpt, not the paint job.

Medicom is okay, but the features are a bit exaggerated... and the scale is off.

Thanks for that! If I stuck the head on a TT Slim body, in which direction would the scale be off? Too big or too small? (And also, would you happen to know if the sculpt has ears?)

Medi's are a smaller scale, and I can't help you with the ears... and I can't tell from the pic.
