Post Charge Shipping Time

Sideshow, why does the timeframe for shipping after being billed getting longer and longer? I was billed in full for an item last Friday morning and it has yet to ship as of Monday evening. This has started to become the rule as opposed to the exception as my previous 4 shipments did not ship the same day as it was billed.

Attempts to get answers from SS has failed to get a response that was of any depth so I've come here in hopes of getting a reply that articulates the reasons behind this current practice. In addition I wanted to also come here and find out if anyone else has been experiencing this.

So, is it just me or has this been happening to others as well?

We have many different products both coming into our warehouse and leaving every day. If a pre-order item is being processed, you may see a 24 - 72 hour window between the charge to your card and receiving your shipping notification.

I am not familiar with what you ordered but your item could be behind hundreds of others being loaded into the shipping trucks. The carrier may have not brought in the amount of trucks they needed to, etc. While we try to get everything out the door within the same day sometimes this is not possible but a 48 hour average window is not an unreasonable amount of time to get your item out of dodge. If you require a faster shipping time, then we do have options for two day and overnight delivery services as well.
