Did a pre order for a Kaustic hero muscle body back in March and now the dealer has stopped trading on June 12th and nobody replys to my emails. Ebay or Pay pal will not get invloved because its past THERE deadline ? Its gigaproshop in Hong Kong, could I contact there local police and report them for Fraud?
Please help.

you can contact whoever but most likely you're gonna have to eat this one. Never pre order on ebay. Sorry for your loss but now you've learned a valuable lesson. Not trying to be a douche but just keeping it real. It sucks.

Im just glad it was only £35 but there is nothing in place for us guys trying to secure our next favorite figure from Hot toys or whoever. YoUr right "IT SUCKS BIGTIME".

Never preorder off ebay.

Did you use a credit card? Since it is past the dedline, police seems to be it, and I doubt they will care.

hot toys dont sell out fast anymore.

if you want to be safe just put in a claim 44 days after payment, most ebay auctions that are preorders say the item ships 30 days from when the auction ends. so there is no reason for them not to meet the deadline stated.

i think know that seller, he used to sell some grail sideshow stuff in numbers, people thought they were recast, must have been taken down, or operating under new id, try looking for some sideshow grail located in japan(which i think where he is located), maybe u can find him

Sorry to hear about it, but live and learn. I learned about not paying for pre-orders upfront when I got burned a few years back. If you are expecting it will take over 45 days, buy through Paypal with a Credit Card so you can be covered via the chargeback process.

Pre-order off eBay, didn't use a credit card, and let the paypal date expire. You pretty much did everything wrong. Sorry, you're screwed.

Try to call first the issuing bank of your Debit Card to explain your case, and see how they can help you. There would be no harm in trying. :dunno

And let us know what happens. I am curious.

One thing I have learned is that buyers who get scammed have more options than many realize.

I just had a dispute that most people believe I would not have had a chance on that went in my favor.

I bought a figure through paypal...not ebay...and I accidentally sent the money as a gift (I usually send it as "goods" even if the instructions say send it as a "gift" as there are no ebay charges as the sellers like, but you leave the door open more readily for a dispute if that becomes necessary). I called ebay about it at 42 days and they opened a dispute for me and gave the seller 10 days (iirc) to respond. 5 days later, I had the figure.

I know your case is different, my point is that if buyers check in to things, they might find more avenues avaiable to them than they may think are there.
