Predator 2 Elder.. I Dont Get It

Hey all, iv read through alot of threads and i get the idea that almost everyone puts Pred 2 Elder at the top of there list as favorite. I dont mean to offend but i cant understand the big deal, he is cool but i see him as just another pred.

i want insite, all those Pred 2 elder fans give me feedback

I thought it was lost in the post again but now thankfully I am hoping otherwise after contacting the guy who sold it me who kindly helped me out.
Hes just one awesome predator plus hes a complete bad ass in the movie so who wouldn't want a figure of him ?

He's just awesome. He has an aura of nobility about him. Just standing there he looks majestic, whether solo or comparing him with the other predators. Then there's the paint, his body markings, his head shape, the thinner blue dreads, and the punky mandible piercing. This pred has it all going on.

Yes, he is just another predator, but he's also my favourite. Which one is yours?

I'm not getting it either. He has the least accessories out of them all, which severely affects his posing options [most pictures have him either clutching the skull necklace or holding a gun he can't use].

Nice headsculpt though, much better than the AVP Preds.

his detail is amazing, his headsculpt is near perfect, and most importantly, he's such a damn cool predator. I think a lot of us just loved that moment at the end of Predator 2, and the sheer bad-assness of him just translates into the figure.

Celtic as a cool mask, and that's about it in my book... But Wolf is almost on Bar with Elder P2, I just think his legs are too thin or his feet are too big. But the Elder is an all-rounder... I'm just waiting to see the P1 offering.

Why do you skeptics all resort back to the accessory thing? Honestly, I could care less about a thousand different accessories. Thats just more for me to have to keep up with, not to mention, he can't hold 10 different weapons at one time. I don't have the time to change weapons and poses every two to three days. The P2 Elder is by far the best I have...needless to say I only have the AVP Elder, P2 Elder, and the BD Predator. It will be very hard to beat this one!

Agree 100%. I'm thinking of buying a knockoff 1/6 Celtic biohelmet and calling it a day. Was never that nuts about the football linebacker armor on the AVP's anyway.

I know I'm in the minority by liking the initial AVP predators better than the new releases, but I have to say that the P2 Elder has an excellent head sculpt, and overall I think its a fantastic figure, well-executed design/likeness, and he just seems to stand out more than the others. Minimal accessories yes, but w/ the pistol and sword, just enough stuff without an over-bearing loadout.

Get him! Like hicks says he is getting really rare now, and as for the accessories. He cant hold all of them at once, and even if he had loads I think almost everyone would have him in the same stance anyway: holding his necklace with sword in other hand. Same as in movie

I think dude, that you should get what you want, whether it be Wolf or Celtic or Elder.


I think the Elder is so god damn cool because it has a new head sculpt, new Armor, new feet, new hands, and just loooks plain BAD ASS.
