Yes, I know but I dont think the Pred is using it while in mid-leap. I know Preds like challenes and honour etc but leaping at a T-Rex like that with intent on killing it with a big blade just seems a bit ambitious on his part.

At least when Scar did it to the Queen in AvP he creeped up from behind while she was distracted and had a spear to plunge into her head.

Instead of an ax, i think a spear would have been a better choice though


or perhaps have a the spear plunged in the T-rex's stomach, which is why he is down on the ground.

I get what you're sayin, but the Predator already has it down, maybe instead of blasting it bits the Pred wants to kill it, his own self? I dunno, it just doesn't seem so far fetched to me, because in the novel Hunter's Planet, a small group take out a T-Rex.

It's a kit dude. Artistic interpretation. Something besides the static stuff we see so often.

Enjoy it for what it is. There's no point in trying to reason it out. Especially using AvP as an example.
