Superman is the last person who would have a 'throne'. I agree that the figure on the back should be the actual statue.

That portrait looks really bad. The comic is perfect with just a hint of Reeve. As a big Supes fan, this is a miss.

As odd as this may sound... but looking at it - there just feels something fundamentally wrong with watching Superman sat down, it looks unnatural.

There is something strangely compelling about the artwork with Reeve sitting in the Fortress, but the weird looking Superman they actually made just doesn't work at all.
