Damn! No other love for this? This games graphics are better then oblivion on a freaking phone! :horror

Looks like they have all the features, the main downsides is lower polygon counts, lower texture resolution, lower anti-aliasing and game resolution. But still, this actually looks better than PSP or DS games, finally. And they really should, the iPhone has more power than those.

I hope I can get my hands on this, UDK was awesome for Epic to do, so if they can add functionality for iOS then it would be great.

The best part about these iPhone games (for now at least) is the price! No way can I justify buying a $29 to $39 game. I think thats why gaming on the iPhone has passed even Nintendo's DS. No one thought anyone would ever touch Nintendo in mobile gaming and iPhone is crushing them! :horror

Actually, there was an article yesterday on Kotaku about that: https://kotaku.com/5627646/apple-boasts-ipod-touch-the-1-portable-game-player

DS has still sold more than iOS devices, and most people don't buy them as a gaming system (really, most games on mobiles really suck). But bringing in support of a video game company like Epic is a good start to getting real games on the system. I don't think they'll ever really be more successful than gaming companies like Nintendo or Sony, in terms of gaming, but it will move things forward.

The problem is up until very recently the iPhone has has some pretty ____ty games compared to what they can do on the DS or PSP. It would take A LOT for me to give up those for strictly iPhone. Especially since I can play all PS games on my PSP, old school ftw.

But I agree that Epic on board will start pushing the iPhone in that direction but I still see it being a while before it replaces the more badass games that the other two systems have.

Cool demo.

It's just a matter of time before there's a controller or gamepad adapter for the iphone/itouch.

All those sweet graphics are going to be covered up by your big-ass thumbs.

Phones are great for Angry Birds and Peggle type games, but FPS's and fighting games, not so much.

The controls on this one are different enough where maybe they were thinking out of the box just enough, but it didn't look that way to me.
