Boy oh boy did this one sneak by me. I don't think I was aware of this piece until it had been out for a few months. I don't know how I missed it but I did. Then one day I stumbled on the thread, wet my pants, and went about looking to raise some funds for the Great Frank Castle.
Face sculpt - 4.5 out of 5 - I know it's based on Olivetti art but I also like the fact that the face reminds me of Mike Zeck's work. That's what got me hooked on the Punisher back in the day. The Detail is amazing and Frank is just so mean.
Body Sculpt - 5 out of 5 / Pose 5 out of 5 - Ka - Blam!!! this body sculpt is up there with sideshows best. The arms, the veins, the pours, and skin imperfection, WOW! But more then anything is the sculpt with the clothing. It looks like real clothing. It is really something you have to see in person or by some of the other photos on this site taken by people with far more talent then me. Really is just perfect.
Paint - 5 out of 5 Out of the park again! The paint apps to this are perfect. The skin tones are realistic and there are no issues with smudging. This is a top notch job.
Weapons - 5 out of 5 Big gun, Check! pistol on the belt, Check. Lots of Amo, Check! Knife hidden in back with punisher symbol on the hilt, Check and mate!
Lasting appeal - 5 out of 5 Just a fantastic sculpt. A must for Punisher and Marvel fans!
Overall - 5 out of 5 Originally had this guy at a four out of five but then I sold him and I knew right away that I blew it. This is one of SSC best pieces. Almost the best. I really love this statue and will never again let him get away
