Punisher war zone figure and armory ideas

Hey guys, i know this probly should have gone to the marvel thread, but i thought i might get some better ideas here. I have always loved the punisher and his armory (i am kind of a gun nut) and the punisher war zone movie version is my favorite for a figure design. I just recently purchased one of the art figures ones(never knew it existed before like four days ago thanks optimatron ) which is awesome and ever since i have been thinking of ways to do his armory in the background. Then i happened to find this great weapons rack on bbts(i think i got the last one to because i wanted to order more sections but couldnt). I am really excited now tho about doing a custom armory diorama with some of my favorite guns in my own custom punisher arsenal I plan to use this rack and make a custom storage shelf to put below it to store extra ammo cases, mags, grenades, etc... I posted some pics of the rack, figure, and a few of my favorite guns i just purchased that will be used in the armory along with many others i am still searching for. Any ideas would be appreciated as well as pics of any of your custom punisher armory's, thanks guys

I am actually working on a 1:6 weapons room at the moment. I've already made a few in 1:18th scale that I'm pleased with and now I'm going to bump it up in size.

Here are some pics of the 1:18th scale and what will be similar in 1:6th minus the stowage as I'm still just starting in the 1:6th world.

Your armory idea is bada$$. The photos in this thread are amazing, and make me want to give Frank his own shelf, and do the same thing. With Snake Eyes, I now have two characters who are weapons heavy, and I gotta agree, collecting guns for them is really fun.

That's awesome bro. Sounds a lot like my childhood too. I've been a comic geek since I was little. I remember getting my friends into the Fleer and Flair trading cards as a kid lol. Some of my first comics were Punisher comics. I actually started teaching myself to draw by tracing his old War Jounal books, at a young age. He's an awesome character.


I'm glad I could point you in the direction of such a kick-*** figure. Someone once did the same for me, so it was only the right thing to do haha. I'm a big Marvel and DC fan, but the Punisher was released before I made the move to 1/6th. I got into Hot Toys after finding the Predator lines, and had no idea about the Saves Punisher, untill someone posted pictures around the time that Ghost Rider was being released. Once I found out about all the awesome Marvel figures HT was producing, I knew Art Saves Punisher had to join to them.

I don't have many guns yet, but I'll try to take a picture of Frank with the mini-gun tomorrow. All I have right now is my *****+y Iphone camera, but it really is sick. One thing I love about this figure, is that he has poseable, bendy hands, so he can hold every kind of gun imaginable.

It's awesome when a figure really gets the energy flowing. I'm kinda that way with Snake Eyes right now, I have been modding him like crazy, and he's really reinvigorated the idea of accessorizing. The Punisher is another great figure for that. I'm trying to amass a large amount of weapons between the two of them myself at the moment. When I first got The Punisher, I bought him a 1/6th Mini Gun, but kinda stagnated on buying other weapons just due to all the other figures coming out.

I appreciate the name drop man, haha, and I gotta thank you for the armory idea. I've had so much fun the pass couple of days sharing guns between Snake and Frank. The armory idea is another great idea to add to that. I can't wait to see what all guns you get. This is gonna be fun.

I'll try to take a picture of Big Pun with the mini-gun tomorrow. All I have is a *****+y IPhone camera, but it's just such an awesome sight regardless of the picture quality. One thing I love about this figure, is his poseable, bendy hands. They literally help him to hold just about any weapon imaginable. It'll be a nice change of pace to get the mini-gun back in his hands. He's been duel weilding the M4 and Ghost Riders 1887 for awhile.

Ya definitely optimatron, snake eyes is awesome, him and frank would get along great, the mini gun is a sweet addition, I am almost tempted to steal the one from my dx t-800(if I didn't luv that representation of him so much) I can already picture one setting on a workbench or table in my dio, maybe next to a 1/6 scale whiskey bottle if I can find one and the cool thing about the armory display is that whatever guns don't go on your other figs can actually be displayed in a cool way rather then packed away in a box somewhere.

To be honest, that mini gun that comes with DX10 might very well be the same one I have. Sometimes I'm convinced HT and other companies, out source for the weapons. Ha, the Whisky Bottle would be a nice touch, along with the work bench. I can see him now, getting wasted, puttin' some new killin' machine together.

I really wish there was a 1/6th Van available. I had the Toy Biz Punisher Van as a kid, and I loved how all the weapons stored on the back doors and he had a turret on top of the van. I also remember in one of those War Journal issues where Frank had a broken leg, and but kept on doing missions. There's this one issue where he's sittin on top of van, at the beach, mowing down a bunch of gangters on a yaught with his mini-gun. To be able to recreate that would be awesome. A 1/6th van would be HUGE though, lol.

Haha yeah the Tumbler is huge. Luckily I'm not a fan of Nolan's vehicles or his portrayal of Batman's rogue gallery. That's really another discussion though, haha. I'm not so fortunate when it comes to the '89 Batmobile. Something deep inside me says untill some of my favorite 'mobiles from the comics are produced, that's my 1/6th Bat ride. I plan on it being the centerpiece of my collection, and sitting it on the coffee table in my "watchtower".

I like those man. I'd really like to find some silver versions of that mp5k.

I love the part at the beginning of War Zone, when he's swinging upside down on the chandelier, blasting away with those.

That sounds cool, the 89 batmobile is a classic design(love it). The mp5 k is sweet, you have to get two, that gun just begs to be dual wielded. That scene is awesome when he is wiping out all those mafia guys, maybe I should get a 1/6 chair so he can kick it thru someone's eye

Hey bro have you ever happened to come across an Mtar 21? I think the upcoming Baroness figure is coming with one, but it'd be nice to add one to the arsenal sooner. Hopefully I'll be adding that Steyre Aug when it gets back in stock at my local shop. I'm looking for an M1 Socom as well at the moment.

hell ya great game, my dad is from new hampshire so i was brought up a patriots fan too. Those are all cool choices for weapons(they were on my shopping list i made the other day) but i havnt ever come across a tavor tar-21, i just checked ebay for you too and couldnt find nothin, unless you want an airsoft version I'm thinkin about gettin this beast right now and trying to decide if i will have enough room for it with how i am setting this up(this thing is big) Castle could really **** some **** up with this thing (maybe mount it on his van too) and it would look sweet in a big armory set up.
